Steak Day hCG Diet

A stall on the hCG diet is defined as four consecutive days of no inch loss or fat loss. When a stall happens most people become panicked because they feel they have did the diet wrong. Rest assured a stall can and does happen even if you have done the hCG protocol perfectly. Knowing what to do and taking control of your hCG stall is the first step to getting back on track.

There are two ways to break a hCG diet stall (and a few others in The Naked Truth About The hCG Diet); Apple Day or Steak Day. In the manuscript Dr. Simeons discusses doing Steak Day for Phase 3, but many hCG dieters also use Steak Day for Phase 2 with great success.

The rules are simple and easy to follow break a stall when you use Steak Day.

1. Drink plenty of water.
2. In the evening, eat a huge steak.
3. Have an apple or a raw tomato.

That’s it.

The principal behind the steak day is feeding your body protein. Protein which is provided by the steak, is a natural diurectic which can release water weight that isn’t flushing from your body. It also clears your body of any built up toxins via the apple or tomato that is preventing your body from releasing any fat as well.

If you are only on day 1 or 2 of a stall don’t panic, you can do this as well. Sometimes your body needs a rest as you are losing a lot of fat on the hCG diet

Other tips:

Always remember to drink plenty of water, 2 liters or more to help flush your system and flush the fat.

Keep a food journal. You can quickly see why you may have stalled or what food is causing your issues.
