I am only 5 days away from completing this round. It has been very difficult this last week. I have only lost 1.8lbs! It is easier to stay on the diet when I am seeing results- as it is for everyone I am sure. I think I hit a former set point- which is why it has been so slow lately. I hope I have moved beyond it tho, and can see some results for the rest of the time.
I am also in the middle of trying to fundraise for my daughter for her 2010 gymnastics season. It is a very expensive

It is one week into my second round and I'm feeling great... except for a pinched sciatic nerve in my back !
I have lost 7.6lbs so far this round and I am finally in the 160's! It is a wonderful feeling to be there... as it has been at least 7 years since I last saw that weight.
Funny observation for the week:
I posted on FB when I hit the 50 lb lost this week. I got so many replies, congratulations, and props! It was great... it is just strange that these people have
As if my life is not crazy enough- we are in the process of waiting for a puppy. The puppies are currently like 5 weeks old so we have about 2 more weeks till we get to bring her home. We are getting a Westie. They are soooo sweet- I am excited- but a bit nervous about it. I have never had a puppy before- and have been told that is it similar to having a baby.....
LOL- I know I am crazy- but I guess it is time to expand our family just a bit more... (just NOT with kids )
Well I made it
I was worried that I would not be able to hold it all together. I feel very scattered with things that I have to get done.
My day is now broken down into two hour increments. That is very hard to deal with, after not having to be anywhere on a time schedule for so long.
I will adjust- it is just weird.
Tomorrow is back to work- and my first VLCD on R2!
WOW a lot of things do dump on myself all at once... <shrugs> I will survive.
I am very excited! I got a job for the first time in like 2 years I will have a paycheck!. It is a very small job... only 2 hours a day... (that is the bad part).... but it is at a local elementary school as a play ground supervisor. I have wanted to work for the schools for a while now- but around here it is who you know, and if they know you. I am working at the elem. school where my kids went to school- so they recognized my name on the application.
I am happy- it is a small job- but
First day of school here for my kids! That mean I have to get up earlier too..... Yuck :/
Had a wonderful time tho- worth every bite!
We flew a kite and walked on the very windy beach...
When we got home we looked for a car for my oldest daughter <eeek!>
It will save me from having to drive her everywhere... it is getting crazy to have to do so!
the only bad part is she will still not be able to drive it for 6 months- cause she never bothered to get her
We are heading to the Coast today- Brookings to be exact. Going to go have lunch there, walk on the beach, fly a kite, take pics. All that good kind of stuff before school starts tomorrow.
I have one kiddo that starts tomorrow and the other starts Wednesday. They stagger the days the kids start here- so new kids/9th graders/6th graders can have time to find their way around the schools before all the older/bigger kids get there on Wed.
It is going to be a very, very busy year for
getting the hang of the new forum. It helps that it is very similar to other forums I belong to.
A bit about me:
I am 40yrs old. Married and have 3 step kids and one of my own. Two of the step kids are grown and moved out- which leaves me with a 16 yr old and 12 year old daughters. To anyone with daughters- you know how time intensive they are... LOL
I started my weight loss on June this year... I was sick and tired of being fat! I had slowly gained 60 lbs in the
