  1. Major Fail for R2

    by , April 2nd, 2012 at 03:54 PM
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I lost 35 lbs doing R1 of sublingual and it was easy to stay on the diet. At the begining of Feb I started R2, doing shots this time, and lost about 15 lbs in three weeks and struggled every day to stay on the diet. My husband was doing it with me and he had a harder time than I did. We both called it quits in week four and have both gained back everything lost on that round. Besides the struggles I had with staying on the diet, my hair was falling out in clumps. ...

  3. Best Scale Ever!

    by , February 24th, 2012 at 08:17 AM
I have read on here in the past few months plenty of complaints about scales. I know I have gone through my share in my quest to find the perfect scale. So I thought I would share my finding of the perfect scale, in my opinion atleast. Health-O-Meter Weight Trend Tracker which you can find at WalMart for under $25. This scale is awesome! I have never had a more accurate scale. You can step on it 5 times in a row and it will give you the same weight every time. Scales I have had in the past would ...

  4. Water Whoosh

    by , February 24th, 2012 at 07:58 AM
I guess I wasn't drinking enough water. I have been getting in 2 liters a day and haven't lost much in the past week or so. My dear husband said I needed to drink more water. He is doing the protocol with me this round and now he thinks he knows it all! He thinks the key to the whole protocol is drinking lots of water. So I managed to down 2.5 liters of water yesterday and woke up this morning 1.8 lbs lighter. So glad for the loss and I will drink more water now, but dang him for being right!!!

  5. Water Games

    by , February 21st, 2012 at 09:10 AM
I have always had a hard time drinking my water, but I have found a couple ways to get it down painlessly. I make a game out of drinking my water, one bottle at a time. I make sure to always have a bottle with me. In the morning I drink a bottle before I allow myself to eat. When I take my kids to school I give myself the car ride to school and back to drink one bottle. I do the same when I go to pick them up. When I go to the store or the mall, I carry a bottle with me because I know I will drink ...

  6. Forget About It.

    by , February 21st, 2012 at 08:55 AM
This round I have decided to forgo any attempt at making substitute deserts or drinks with flavor. On my first round thru the holidays I tried all the recipes, cocoa crack, mug cake, apple pie. I tried flavored stevia and lemon and lime juice with stevia in my water. And I made unsweetened tea with stevia. I just can't stand stevia and nothing I tried tasted good at all. I wasted more time and money on things made with stevia to quench my cravings for sweets and ended up pouring it all down the ...

  7. Muscle Doesn't Weigh More than Fat

    by , February 20th, 2012 at 02:07 PM
An acquaintance told me today that it is just a myth that muscle weighs more than fat according to Dr.Oz. So I googled it and it made me giggle. All my google results were articles about how a pound is a pound and a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat. Well duh. Of course a pound is a pound and a pound of fat weighs the same as a pound of muscle as a pound of feathers weighs the same as a pound of bricks. But what I said was muscle weighs more than fat, not a pound of muscle weighs ...

  8. Great Place for Recipes

    by , February 12th, 2012 at 02:46 PM
www.allrecipes.com is a great place to get recipes from. I have used that site for years and I love it. They have an option where you can type in the ingredients you want and ones you don't and it will show you recipes fitting your lists. And every recipe on there has feedback from other people that have tried it where they can rate the recipe and tell how they tweaked it to fit their taste. Every recipe also has a rating in stars and it will also tell you how many people have tried the recipe and ...

  9. Lost My P3 and R2 Loading Gains!

    by , February 9th, 2012 at 10:00 AM
I gained 1.6 lbs in P3 of R1 and then 6 lbs loading for this round. Today is day 3 of VLCD R2 and I am now .2 lbs under my ldw for R1. So that is a total of 7.8 lbs in two full days on VLCD. I think a bit of that was due to retaining water because I didn't drink enough of it while I was loading. It feels good to be eating so clean again. By the end of P2 R1 I was so sick of steak, chicken, and tomatoes. But now I am really enjoying my meals of sliced tomatoes with steak or chicken and looking forward ...

  10. Oh How Different it is Starting Round 2.

    by , February 6th, 2012 at 10:54 AM
Today is my second load day for my second round of hcg. When I came to this site and hcg as a newbie back in Novemeber I was excited yet hesitant about doing the protocol. I was nervous about mixing, pessimistic about being able to follow the protocol, and doubtful that it would really work for me. For me, hcg was a last ditch effort to lose weight before I had myself sliced and diced by a weight loss surgeon. I managed to mix it right, did a darn good job of staying on protocol with minimal slips ...
