It is quite normal - what you are going through. Without knowing what you ate, it's hard to offer any suggestions.

The first week is the hardest and when I got headaches the first few days, I realized that I didn't load properly.

Instead of loading on fatty foods and good fats, I ate mostly sweets and I paid for it with 2-3 days with intensely painful headaches. My body was detoxing from the sugar I had injested. When you load correectly, you (1) should not be hungry and (2) your dosage is either too low or it's too high.

You should also take into account that your body is fighting something - since you mentioned that on day 2 of loading, you were sick and you could be retaining water.

If you can get through the first week, you should be fine. Are you taking any supplements?

I'm sure you can find something to help with concentration, energy, etc. I take a multi-vitamin, calcium, Liquid MSM and potassium among other things. I searched YouTube for what supplements other HCG users are taking.

Your 7.4 loss is great and any loss - even a .2 is a GREAT loss. Try not to get caught up in the "losing 1 lb a day" the average for women is .50 lbs a day and men lose more.

Be patient, trust the process and you will be fine.

Thanks so much for your insight. I wasnt ill but sick because I'm not used to eating so much food, what I ate in 2 days I could probably eat that over a week.

I ate nuts, avacado, cheesecake, salmon, wings but I also had sweets, like donuts and potato chips. I ate lots of cheese and carbs as well.

Now I'm eating very strictly, sticking to protocol 100%. I may be taking in too much water.. around 13-15 cups a day without realizing it. But i have always drank a lot of water.I began taking B12 today and have been taking biotin for a while to prepare because some women experienced hair loss.

SN: I did lose from an half inch to an inch on EACH body part measured (neck, bust, waist, gut, hips, each thigh and calf, each upper and lower arm) so I guess that speaks for something!!

I just wanted to leave you some words of encouragement and to tell you congratulations on your initial loss of 7.4 pounds - You are off to a great start even if you don´t feel fully adjusted to the protocol. Maybe if you could tell us some more about your menu and the spacing of your eating times someone could make recommendations (?). Also, I have no idea what your caffeine intake is, but I experimented with cutting out my usual coffee during the first part of P2 eating (I really don´t like coffee without cream or coffeemate or sweetner) and I found that my headaches due to caffeine withdrawal were kicking my butt, particularly while at work. Also, something that worked for me when I felt overwhelmed by thought of food was to find a way to take a break from my desk at work and walk a lap or two around the block - whether or not you are already exercising, interjecting movement into those moments when your body tells you it needs something, is your way of responding your body, hey, I´ve already got some fat stores on-board that need to be burned, so let´s re-route that message! Also, since you are taking injections, it definitely may be worthwhile to speak to your provider about whether your dosage should be tweaked - I have read other posters describing that their injections actually needed to be decreased slightly to be the most effective. You have several days left in P2, so don´t feel at all awkward about investigating now what adjustments you might need to make to enjoy this period - it is possible to complete P2 comfortably. I'm typically eating 100g of protein 2x a day, 2cups veggies 2x a day, 2 fruits.Mainly chicken, shrimp, tilapia, collards, cabbage, asparagus, spinach, grapefruit, strawberries, apples, and oranges. In the morning I just have water and fruit (an hour or so later I'm starving) lunch I have a protein and veggie, then a snack a few hours later, lastly I have dinner of a protein and veggie. Never the same meat, fruit, or veggie in the same day.

I'm just getting started and not willing to quit but the thought of food is consuming me lol! I never thought about food this much ever!

awe thats to bad! as the others have mentioned tho congrats 7.4 is a great start. id like to share my experience of my first few weeks...i experinced like morning sickness all most! i was very naseous and i even threw up at walmart once (that wasnt cool) your doseage could be off tho...later in phase 2 i was increasingly hungry and had to cut my drops back. give it two more days than go to grammys groupies forums, and ask grammy and she may be able to help you with dosing, she helped me! best of luck

Update Ladies! Yay!!! I'm not hungry for the first time! I havent been hungry at all today!

Your food selections show a lot of variety but I'd look at the oranges. They might be making you stall or not lose as much.
I eat the same foods you do, but when I add an orage, I either will gain a bit or I'd stall.

I use my fruits and grassini stick as my mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack and I drink 2 liters of water a day.
