Hi Mods - not sure if I should post this here in general info or some other part of the forum. Please move it if you think that's a good idea. I wanted to share, but no category seemed quite right.

Here goes: I'm a foodie, even when it comes to teas. Here are some teas I think are really helpful (at least they are for me). I've always used these, but it's great that I can continue to use them while on protocol. Just thought I'd share them.

Stacy's Tea List

Numi Chocolate Pu'er Tea (Good with Stevia and Cinnamon)
Numi Broccoli Cilantro Savory Tea
Numi Tomato Mint Savory Tea
Numi Beet Cabbage Savory Tea
Numi Aged Earl Grey
Tulsi Organic Sweet Rose Tea (Good with Stevia)
Tazo Berryblossom White Tea
Yogi Vital Energy Tea (has black pepper, fennel and mint)
Tazo China Green Tips
Tazo Om (renamed Peach Cucumber) Tea
Republic of Tea Cardamom Cinnamon

Most of these are fragrant and delicious without being sweetened, but to the chocolate, rose, and cinnamon teas I'll sometimes add stevia. The Numi Savory teas are like nothing I've ever tried before. The Tomato Mint one is indescribable and amazing. It's like drinking a garden.

Anyway, I find it's hard to not want to cheat sometimes, and even when not on this protocol I find that well balanced teas are like a little moment of meditation. Hope this helps someone.

I have been doing the HCg injections for about 5 weeks & I am not seeing a lot of weight loss. I am seeing some inch loss. I also have hypothyroidism & take medicaiton for that. I seem to lose a few lbs. & then a lb. or so back. I am a bit frustrated. Granted I have not stuck to the diet 100 %. I have started exercising & today my weight was up by 2lbs. Could that be inflammation? Will that correct itself? I am getting married in 8 weeks. Any suggestions? Any way I can jump start myself? Do the detox baths really work? Your feedback is greatly appreciated !!!

Unfortunately for me, i've started this diet at the wrong time, I had some blood work done a few weeks ago and i'm going to be in the hospital for a bit, it has nothing to do with the drops I was taking, it's my own medical issues that i'm trying to get sorted, now obviously I can't continue this diet while i'm in the hospital, i'm on vlcd13 (i think) and I understand that I won't be able to reset my metabolism, I am terrified of gaining the weight i've lost back plus more and my metabolism being damaged, how bad is this going to be? In hospital it is going to be tough sticking to phase 3 foods as i'll need to be monitored and ill probably have to eat things that my body needs, so how can I stop the regain of at least some of what i've lost? Help please, this is the only diet thats been working except for my previous vlcd and I am at a loss.

I just wanted to post this out there and see if there are any tips or tricks you can use to push down a couple pounds for a weigh in. My work is doing a Biggest loser contest and it ends in a week and a half which I timed to be my last day of P2. I know there are things people do for wrestling to get down a couple pounds on weigh in days like sweat a bunch and spitting. I'm just looking for ways to maximize for just the weigh in portion, even if I gain them all back right after the weigh in.

I've tried the cantalope before bed thing but that didn't seem to help. Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks.

I loaded June 17th & 18th. I pigged out (up to 1200 cals) but did not include sugar and heavy carbs. I began the drops on Monday as well and have been taking 6 drops per 6 doses a day. I've Noticed since I began the drops on Monday that I've been very tired, even almost falling asleep at my desk. Today I am even more tired than the last two days. I just began the VLCD today so I know it may slightly have something to do with not eating they way my body was used to, but does this "tiredness" last? This is my first time using HCG and being on a VLCD. I attempted to research as much as I possibly could and read pounds and inches before I began. But I feel asking others can be more informative than a stuffy document explaing symptoms, etc. So my question...Is this normal? To feel so tired and almost achey?

I did read somewhere that you should take b-12 with Hcg/Vlcd..has this worked with improving anyones energy level?
