    Smile How to maintain weightloss

I was just wondering. How? When I finish, should I just go on the treadmill everyday?? lol Are you allowed to exercise during P4? I know the obvious answer is what you are eating, I was just wondering if anyone tried being active afterwards. Also, I saw maintenance drops online. Curious!

    Thank You!

What are maintenance drops? I actually read a post from someone who said she was taking a very low dose of HCG to maintain. Couldn't find any more info on it though.

I have tried the Maintenance pills. They did help. I took them when I had hunger, least amt. of control, in-between meals. They're basically Hoodia and caffeine. I ordered the newer version with African Mango, but haven't tried them yet, cause I am on P2.

I am using a "booster" supplement with African Mango with my hhCG. It has caffeine, too, so I take it in the afternoon. I can tell its working, cause it will be dinner time and I forgot to eat my apple.

Full disclosure: I've had a lot of trouble maintaining, so I am trying different things. I think the Maintenance pills would have worked this last time, but my doctor changed my thyroid rx, which totally screwed it up, hence I gained weight. It is finally back and I'm doing another short round of hhCG to get that weight off.

    Round 3: 33 days: lost 27 pounds
Round 4: ...having trouble with maintenance still which is why I keep doing more rounds.
    Round 7: P2: 23 days: lost 18.2 pounds
............: P3: so far so good!

I am interested in this as well. I posted a question in the past about taking HCG to maintain, but I was told I would gain weight. My thoughts were when I am on HCG, I am not so hungry or not craving stuff. My struggle with weight loss has been cravings and thought if I can battle this, I would likely maintain my weight.

    Any other thoughts?

Kimberly - which maintenance pills are you on and what brand of HCG are you using?

As with any weight loss...keeping it off is the real challenge! Steak days work in P3 and P4, the trick is to do them (ha-ha) I gained 11lbs back from oct-nov-dec merriment, sucks to have to re lose already lost weight!

I have to eat P3 as a lifestyle avoiding sugar and starch to not gain weight. I need to watch the scale and when I go over the 2lbs do a correction day.

No problems with working out in P4, personally I like to not really work out in p3.. I like to think I am resetting my set weight better by not tricking my body to depend on exercise ( I could be wrong , but that is my gut feeling)

I don't have problems with hunger and eat when I am hungry...it is just making the right food choices for my body and be mindful of what I eat. If I go out to dinner , avoid the bread basket...or if I do decide to have some bread be mindful that I may need to do a correction day..that kind of thing.

I am so jealous of people who can eat whatever they want...my friends and family. But this is just my lot in life....I know I am in good company with people on here that struggle with their weight.

Hi Vicki, thanks for the link. I looked at the site and I am confused...do you take the same drops whether you wish to lose or maintain??? Is this what you are taking?
Exercise is always good to do....it keeps things moving internally! I exercise every day BC it makes me feel good! If you don't wish to push, just walk for 20 minutes.

Kim, I am taking an African ago supplement too. I think it helps. I also take l carnitine and they told me in GNC to boost it w CLA. Haven't done that yet. Both of these are highly recommended in many posts. I hear you on the thyroid meds. Mine were lowered BC HCG boosts your thyroid function...while you take it. So I think a dis- service was done there.

Beep, cravings are usually from carbs, sugar, grains or some food sensitivity. Have you noticed a link yet?

Stacey...did a few steak days in p3 ESP after Christmas and new years. But as long as my body wants to drop back down, I consider it successful. Hope it continues to work well for me.

I am in r2 p2 w3...doing a short round to push the losses that I see more of in the first 3 weeks. So far so good.

All these products come from this website: http://hcg-injections.us/index.html

HCG Maintenance 24/7 plus African Mango $19.99 These are the ones for P3 & 4. These do not have hCG in them.
HCG Capsules with African Mango - 30 Day Supply $34.99 These do not have hCG in them, it is a supplement to take with your hhCG

    These are my favorite hhCG:

hCG Diet Phase I & II Pellets
1 Bottle: Advanced HCG Alternative & Weight Loss with Amino Acids
    40 Day Supply (480 Pellets)
    Qty:
    Price: 34.99 (Includes $4.95 shipping)

Right now I am using drops from my local health food store ( a brand I've been successful with before) since I took my pellets through the xray machine at the courthouse. Duh!!!
The drops are 2 oz. amber bottle with a gold label, no name brand. Distributed by Health Yourself out of Perrysburg, Ohio.

    Hi Kimberly,

Reading your post is really making me think about this maintainance thing. I am almost at the end of phase 2 and like my previous rounds, I tend to lose control on p3 and p4 and would gain 10lbs in between. I just don't want to this cycle over and over. It sucks to do the diet and then after 1 month, the 10lbs in back even if I am really not eating something out of the ordinary.

Anyways, when you are on the maintainance HCG, did you eat a certain way. Do you have to avoid fats? I know we must avoid starches and sugars on p3. But since p4, allows that we can start to gradually add those things, will it be counterproductive if I do using the maintainance HCG? Did you continue to lose weight on it and how was it helpful for you?

Also, on the one that you are currently using from your local store - what supplement is that?

Sorry, too many questions but I am just trying to plan for p3 so I don't have to do my yoyo routine.

    Thanks.

Julie - did you get the brand from GNC? How does it help you? Thanks.
