    GREAT side-effects

The most noticeable GOOD side effect for me has been the AMAZING disappearance of joint pain. I honestly thought a few weeks ago that I was having rheumatoid arthritis or something. I kept Googling "severe joint pain"... I even thought I might have Lyme disease. And this cannot be only a result of the loss of some extra weight because I've only lost 13 pounds so far. That wouldn't make my shoulders, fingers, and neck feel better (maybe my knees, hips, and feet).

I'm also sleeping better, and I don't get that mid afternoon sluggishness anymore. I've lost almost all cravings. Mexican food is still KILLING me, but the sugar cravings are almost nil, which is a giant accomplishment for me.

The only negative side effects that I'm experiencing now (R1P2VLCD9) are still a tiny bit of brain fog, EARLY and HEAVY TOM, and a giant zit on my chin (maybe result of TOM).

I have the brain fog, too and sometimes slightly blurry vision and sometimes in around the third week I get a little weak, but the major thing I love love love, is I get absolutely no reflux on the VLCD part. thrilled to hear about your joint pain that must really improve your quality of life!

I am lucky, my skin also loves this way of eating and it loves P3 too, I think it is all the yummy fat in P3, and despite being a total sugar addict, my skin loathes sugar. I hear you about the sugar cravings, i cannot WAIT for mine to be gone again. Day 4 of the white knuckling over here.

And I'm adding that my hair is REALLY soft and has more body than normal! It's very odd. No one can say that as good as I feel, this "diet" is not healthy!

You probably have some kind of food allergy that has caused your joint pain and you're not eating it now. Likely culprit is gluten. Other possibles are dairy or eggs.

My husband suffers with bad reflux as well, takes medication every day. When he was on a protein based diet his reflux all but disappeared. This made him believe that the main culprit is is sugar/starch
