No you're not doing it right. Yogurt isn't allowed. Ranch dressing isn't allowed. You need to read the real protocol which is Pounds and Inches. It's not enough to just limit your calories.
I started the hhcg drops on Saturday March 5, eating whatever I wanted for the 2 load days (my diet is pretty healthy anyhow) and now am on the second day of the 500 cal diet taking drops 6 drops 5 times a day. My diet has consisted of the following for both yesterday and today:
2 small pieces of fruit
2 small green salads w/ 1/2 boneless, skinless, boiled seasoned chicken breast and 1 small tomato cut up on time with 1 tbsp ranch for dipping
1 100 cal. low fat yoplait yogurt.
I calculated this to be approx. 500 calories, maybe a little more/less depending on if I use all the ranch or not....
I have been doing 30-45 minutes moderate exercise per day as well, but currently have no way to weigh myself.
Any thoughts? I hope to get a scale soon but the nearest store is 100 miles away (Im in remote Alaska)

What is pounds and inches? I really want to do this right but bought a friends drops that she bought online and decided not to use.
Pounds and Inches is the protocol for this diet written by Dr. Simeon. It is a very specific diet protocol. You really need to read it to learn about the diet.

Round 1--26 days 2/26-3/24 24 pounds released LDW 225.0
Round 2-- 26 days 5/14-6/9 22.6 pounds released LDW 206.6.
Round 3-- 22 days 9/4 -9/25 19.4 pounds released interruption weight 196. This was a planned interruption that wasn't resumed
Round 4--25 days 1/1-1/26 20 pounds released LDW 193.

Pounds and Inches is the manuscript from which the diet comes from. It gives the "protocol" that you should be using. Part of the protocol is the type and quantity of food.
If you are going on the weight loss protocol, you are interested in P2. This stands for Phase 2. So you'll want to read a lot about that.
So, I read up on it and realize what I was doing wrong. Should I start over or just continue on following the restrictions?
