Thread: constipation

    constipation

Please, does anyone have the answer to this? I had a terrible time last year with this. And it started again. Does a laxative dehydrate the body? I take two metamucial pills presently but not helping much.

How much magnesium are you taking each day? Perhaps you need to increase it. I'd stay off the laxatives and just increase the magnesium until you get loose stools, then back off by one pill per day to keep you regular.

My nemesis as well! My advice? Make friends with magnesium citrate tabs, smooth-move tea, & keep chugging that water!

I also suffer from this (being older my plumbing has kinda slowed down, lol).
I use Ageless Nutrition Ageless Hydro-C. It's a colonic moisturizer with mineral ascorbates. You can mix it with water (I flavor my water with Stevia and coconut flavoring) or whatever else you want. It starts working pretty fast, usually in a couple hours and keeps me regular when I'm having trouble. A little goes a long way so it will last quite awhile.

The only thing I've ever taken for this is smooth move tea. Wal Mart sells it and there are a few different flavors. It works really well and you don't have to take a pill - plus it's protocol safe

Anyone have an idea how much it costs? I'm not in trouble yet, but I had problems my whole life, so I'm sure I will now. Lol

    Nah, I think it's around $3.00.
