    Hello to all....newbie...started HCG yesterday...

I have been lurking around for some time. I really appreciate all of the information that is housed in this valuable website. I also appreciate all of the information that users post about HCG. I have learned a lot from you all.

Well, today is my second loading day. I took my first RX shot yesterday. My doctor told me to gorge....and I have. But, I have to say, I feel GROSLY full. Loading has been difficult for me. :-) I mean, I have eaten all the fatty foods I wanted. But the full feeling is terrible most of the time, and the heartburn is BAD.

I have already noticed a couple 'side effects'. I could not get warm last night when I went to bed. Also, I woke up 3 hours later thinking it was time to get up....I still had 4 hours to sleep! That is very unusual for me. Something else, I have had the shakes today. Not too bad, but it is there. And I could not sit still during a meeting. I bounced my leg the entire time. I am sure I was driving the person setting next to me crazy.

So, tomorrow is the first day of 500 cals. I admit I am nervous. But, I am ready.

Once again, thank you for sharing your personal experiences here is this forum. I can relate to so much you are saying.

Hi! I will do my first shot and loading day tomorrow (saturday 2/18/12). This is my 1st time trying hCG. I've lost 18 pounds since the first of the year just following a low carb diet, but knowing my Rx had arrived in today's mail, and I'd get to start the protocol tomorrow, I went out to dinner tonight, and kind of got a jump start on loading day. LOL Ate fried chicken, french fries, and a big piece of chocolate cake, and I know what you mean, I feel "grossly stuffed", too. I don't think loading days are going to be as much fun as i imagined!! But I am so excited and ready to try this.

Good luck to you! Is this your 1st time trying it too?

Yes, this is my first time trying HCG. My loading days were not as fun as I imagined either. I had heartburn the entire 2 days. And, every fatty thing I ate made me feel blah....sugar too. I had lost 35 pounds since the first of January on my own by eating lean proteins and lots of vegetables and fruits. So, the loading was tough even though I ate some of everything I thought I would crave during the HCG.

I am on VLCD4 today. I have lost 8.4 pounds. WHOOHOO!! My first 2 VLCDs were tough (Saturday and Sunday). I felt pretty terrible and hungry. And, my husband and I were at the National Farm Machinery Show walking around both days. So I got TOO much exercise. Oh well. I am figuring out my eating. Yesterday I felt pretty good, and today I feel better. I am really, really, REALLY wanting to loose 40 pounds during this round. I have so much to lose anyway. I have been trying to read posts and threads from the old-timers who have so much knowledge about this program.

Wow...8.4 is really good! I started the same days as you...this is also my VLCD4 and I've lost 6.8...when I got on the scale this morning I had stayed the same as yesterday. Have no idea why, since I have been drinking tons of water, well over 2 qts. So hopefully when I step on the scale I will see that I lost a few more...hoping so!!! My weight tracker is saying I lost 3 pounds...it's reverting to where I initially weighed in before my load days. I actually lost my load weight, thank goodness!
    Load Days: Feb. 16 & 17th
    Start Date: Feb. 18th

8.4 includes my loading weight. But, saying I have lost 8.4 pounds makes me feel better. I have destroyed a pre-HCG plateau that I have been sitting on for a couple weeks. 6.8 is also excellent!!! Making good progress. Is this your first experience with HCG? It is mine. It is all new to me. I have to say, the hunger is more than I expected. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow morning. I fully expect her to tweak my dosage. I mean, I can do 40ish days feeling like this, but my husband, friends, and family may hang me!

Are you doing shots, sublingual, or other?
