Has anyone had luck with eggs and cottage cheese?

The doctor I am seeing for the hcg said eggs and cottage cheese can be substituted for meat on occasion. Has anyone else tried this? What about pickles for cucumbers?
I have this far to go until I am one hot chick...

I do them about once a week. Keep an eye on it though because some people are suprised by a bad reaction (gain) to the eggs. Not everyone though. I always do them for lunch as they are pretty quickly digested.

Pickles are high in sodium and frequently contain some kind of sugar. Not a great Idea but it got me through a box lunch meeting, I stole e1's pickle spears . I traded cake for one of them YAY ME!! No harm no foul but def. an "emergency only" ration.

I have eggs sometimes twice a week without issue. I've found though that having 1 whole egg and 3 egg whites from fresh eggs I don't lose but if I use 1 whole fresh egg and All Whites (in a box) eggs then I lose just fine.

I was eating eggs almost every day with no problem. Either 1 egg + 3 egg whites or with 1 egg + 4 egg whites when I wanted extra protein. I always use the pure egg whites from the carton.

I haven't tried eggs, but on my last round I did fat-free cottage cheese a couple times a week towards the last half. It helped change things up and I didn't stall because of it. Yummy!

I've done fine with both, but haven't tried too often, maybe 1X per week or two. A couple of times I've done 2 whole eggs + 1 white and been fine...but this is over a very long time on VLCD.

    It's been slow, but well worth it!! I'm 5' 1.5" & 49.

I did eggs just fine in P2, but cottage cheese didn't go well. Gained 5 lb due to my whey sensitivity.

Kosher garlic dills are my friends! YUM!! (cucumbers, you know)
