Same as what came in my hCG mixing kit, just in a smaller size.

Any opinions on my original question?

The product on that link contains 0.9% Sodium Chloride not 0.9% benzyl alcohol.

I am so very very confused about dosage. The more I read the more confused I get.. I have 10,000 Novarel which is constituted with (I think) 10ml of the water... " 3 30s and a 10" on the needle as per instructions from my doctor.

So, using the insulin syringe, what number am I aiming for? I have read that 125iu is 25 on the syringe and 200iu is 20 on the syringe and that is quite a difference! What would 125, 150, 175 and200 be for my dilution.

BTW I am using 3/10 mL needles http://www.bd.com/us/diabetes/page.a...t=7002&id=7407

If you mixed 10000iu with 10ml of bac water, your mixture is 1000iu per ml

A dose of 125iu would be 12.5 units. A dose of 150iu would be 15 units.

Also, mixed hcg begins to lose it's potency around the 25 day mark. My suggestion would be that once you determine your correct dose that you load some syringes with your dose, draw a bit of air to allow for expansion, and freeze them.

Thanks! Fortunately, my insurance covers Novarel at $9 a bottle, so after 30 days we are just going to toss the remainder and get more. Adding air to a syringe makes me nervous..

My doctor had me on 200 units or 20 on the syringe and after reading this thread and your post I cut back to 175 and did MUCH better today. No hunger problems at all. We'll see how much I lose though.. had been losing 1-1.5lbs a day, but the hunger was really getting to me.

Okay, I'm wanting to purchase my kit today but after reading a few comments I question if the water is correct to be used for injecting.

It is 10 mL Hospira Bacteriostatic 0.9% Sodium Chloride Mixing Water.

Is this the correct water in the kit I'm buying?
Also, for 1x 5000hucog 1ml freeze dried will the 10 mL Hospira Bacteriostatic Water be big enough to mix in? And how long will this 10ml vial of hucog (mixed) last for????

I want to know to make sure I'm ordering the correct size vials of water.

Is the 5000 hucog dried freeze have different mixing instructions? And are they both at the same level of potency?

libbyr - glad the lower dose is helping

Weiwin - You don't want to use sodium chloride when mixing hcg for injection. Sodium chloride is meant for single use. It does not contain a preservative.

How long a vial of hcg lasts is based on the IU of the vial. 5000iu at an average dose of 150iu per say will give you 5000/150 = 33 days. BUT once mixed, hcg begins to lose potency around the 25 day mark.
