Mixing and Subcutaneous Injection Instructions

Hi please help ok so i am very new to this, i read so much but different websites say different things .. here is my dilemma i bought 2 vials of hucog 5000iu, i tried to mix the first vial with 10ml of sterile water that came with is (not bac water hope this is ok) some spilled out of the needle and it gave me 7ml so it says this is suppose to last for about 20 or so day which now would be less, my question is how to much to really inject my needle is a 1/2 1 ml insulin needle that goes from 10-100 i wanted to inject about 175iu what is that on these needles?? i understand the 10-23-30 ect but some are saying 175iu would be like 35. basically that is the next number up (35-would be at the 40 mark, 45 would be at the 50, this is very confusing. also who much am i really suppose to inject for my body weight is there a set amount? I am on vlc day2 still a bit hungry especially at night. . once this vial is up i have another set since it say for a 45 day round buy 10000iu. i want to do this right.

First let me get some clarification.

Did you end up mixing with 7ml of sterile water instead of 10? Was the vial of hcg powder or liquid?

If you mixed with a total of 7ml (powdered hcg) then your mixture is 5000/7 = 714iu per ml. A dose of 175iu would be 175/714 or .245 (call it .25) or 25 units on the syringe.

If your hcg was liquid and you mixed that 1 ml with the 7ml, then your mixture is 5000/8 or 625iu per ml. A dose of 175iu would be 175/625 or .28 or 28 units on the syringe.

if neither of these are how you mixed let me know.

A vial of 5000iu at 175iu will last 5000/175 = 28 doses. hcg can start to lose potency after 24 days or so.

Thank you do much for the response, yes it was a powder form. interesting if it only last about 24 days how can i be on a 45 day cycle? ( that is the website i ordered said) , do i have to stop at 24 and go off the program? thank you

opps and yes i mixed the 7 instead of 10ml because the large syringe leaked about 3 ml when i was adding it to the steryl bottle.

You said you'd purchased two vials of 5000iu. You would mix halfway through.

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have been given HGC by my doctor with no real explanation on how to inject. I have the vials, the little bottle with Brevacttid 1500I.E. Do I need the water to dilute or can I use without water? Need help here

You will need bacteriostatic water. Did he give you any of that?

I am going to order my HCG today. Can you please tell me how many vials should I order for a long round? Also, is it best to get the 2000 OR 5000 for a long round?

3 or 4 vials of 2000iu or 2 vials of 5000iu.

I prefer the 2000iu so that I mix more often.

Beth... how much Bac water total do you end up mixing with your 2000iu vials? I'm torn on which amount is best. Obviously, I want good absorption.
