Anyone having luck refreshing the pivot table? Once I do it it clears out her dates, but it won't recognize the dates I put in??? Any advice would be helpful.

    Thanks!

I'm having the same problem as Emcee with the pivot table.

I figured it out Emcee. In order to refresh the table with your new numbers (and dates), clear the "date" filter in the pivot table (right click, then select "clear filter"). Once you do that everything will show up (the 4/25 dates and the "blank" date). Then refresh the table, your new numbers (and "blank") should now show up. You can unclick "blank" from the "date" filter options to hide it.

    Excellent Worksheet!
I was attempting to change the worksheet to 23 day, however I am unable to unlock. My excel 2010 is asking for a password. Please help. This is R1D1 for me.

Awesome!! But I think I'm still doing something wrong. What cell are you in when you right click because I don't get that option. I'm in MS Excel 2011 for Mac.

    THANKS!!

In the pivot table, in the cell that has "date" as its title

looks like the symbol circled in the image below. If you click on that (not right click) you will get the filter options. You can also right click on the cell with "date" and get the options. I haven't tried this in the mac version (as the mac excel on my laptop is acting up) but it should work1439-2.jpg

That did it!!! I was in the wrong cell - suhweet! Thanks SOO much!

Oh - wait, addition to post...so every time I want to update the pivot table I have to hit refresh? I add a new entry and it doesn't see it until I refresh. Is that correct or should it be feeding directly into the table once I add a new line and date?
