That was fine. How did you feel by the time you went to bed and this morning?

    Grammy:

Thanks so much for your advice!!!!! I cut out the Ezekiel bread like you advised and JUST LIKE MAGIC, my scale showed a loss of 1.2 pounds this morning. I was jumping for joy. Thank you so much. I am not allowing my Husband to have it either, I don't want to jeopardize the diet in any way. Huggggs for you

    Moya:

Hope you are doing better today and no more spins.

I just want to add something that might make you all feel better! I am a slow loser, hypothyroid, and in my 2nd round, after a few weeks of nothing special, I lost 10 lbs one week and it didn't come back. So you never know when you're going to have good losses - hang in there!

Much better last night and today, thank you. That spin-y, light headed feeling is gone, don't feel as sluggish. I also had a little extra protein last night, so that may have helped too. And to top it all off I lost over a pound, so something worked. I suspect that perhaps it was the "fresh batch" of hcg that did me in even though I thought that I had my previous stored properly. I am going to give myself a slightly lower evening dose tonight too so I don't have a repeat. Boy did I feel weird yesterday.

All hcg begins to degrade when it's mixed. The potency is lower toward the end and then when you remix it's fresh and new. So you may need to lower your dose a tad, both doses.

Just thought I'd update my losses... after being frustrated about a stall, I can gladly say that I've crossed the 20lb threshold! Day 35 and I've lost 20.6 pounds! Certainly not the 1 pound per day loss I was hoping for, but I'm still doing great! I have to admit that I'm starting to get nervous about P3 and plan on eating pretty much the same as I have been, just adding a little more quantity. And maybe some eggs for breakfast! (of all things, I'm craving scrambled eggs!) I will admit that weeks 3-4 were much harder on me than week 1... must have been psychological, but I really struggled with disappointment and frustration and boredom. I have had to tell myself (outloud) that I am eating for nourishment and not pleasure! Don't get me wrong...I still try to enjoy my meals, but I am much more focused on what I NEED vs. what I WANT. This week, treated ourselves to a favorite mexican food restaurant with the family and thoroughly enjoyed a bed of lettuce with grilled sirloin steak sliced on it and poured on the salsa! I know it was probably off protocal, but after being diligent for so long, we felt like treating ourselves a little! And I have to say... it was the best salad I've had in months!!! Now we are on the final stretch with 10 days to go and both me and DH hope to lose another 5 pounds!

My advice to anyone not losing what you had hoped for... remind yourself that you didn't gain all this extra weight overnight and you won't lose it overnight either! Stick with it and even small losses add up to great numbers on the scale eventually!

BTW... I'M REALLY SCARED TO GO INTO P3!!! P2 is so strict that I'm afraid to have options that might jeapordize my success!

You've done great! Most women lose about 25 pounds in 6 weeks so you're right at the average.

OK, back again and wondering what to do. Today marks 28 days on the hcg for me (and today will be my 26 vlcd), and my results haven't been that great. Originally I was planning on stopping my round today, taking my last drops tonight (or tomorrow morning, this 72 hour thing is confusing), doing my 3 final vlcd, and transitioning into P3 on Monday.

BUT, I am not where I want to be. This could mean....my body is done and trying to tell me something, or I am in the middle of a stall and should ride it out. Here are my results:
    Week 1: -5.5
    Week 2: -4.5
    Week 3: -2
    VLCD 22: 0
    VLCD 23: 0
    VLCD 24: -0.6
VLCD 25: +0.7 (so net for week 4 is +0.1)
Total weight loss in 25 days is 11.9 lbs, weight today is 132.4, BMI is about 22.5 so I have plenty of wiggle room here. My original goal was 130, so a loss of 14 lbs, which is right on the average for female weight loss. I have had one cheat with a single glass of wine last week. I cut the melbas long ago and most days only have one fruit, other than that have been right on plan.

I know that nobody can tell me exactly what to do, but does anybody have any recommendations based on your experience? Time to stop or should I try to eek out those last couple of little pounds?

According to your bmi you are at a good weight now. Whether you should push on or not would depend on why you feel you need to lose the last couple of lbs. I think I would atleast go to 30 days worth of doses before moving on to P3 because I have read on here that you stabalize better after 30 days.
