Thinking of switching on to Belluscio dosing, but have some questions...

    Hi,

I'm currently on VLCD 4. I experienced a big loss on VLCD 1 (2.8 lbs), then moderate losses the next 2 days (.8 and 1lb). I'm a little disappointed in the losses, but more worried about the distribution of inches. I've lost a couple inches already off of my belly "pooch" above my belly button, but none off of my lower belly "pooch" below my belly button. I'm debating about switching to the higher Belluscio doses because I really want to lost weight in the stomach this round (even if I have to do a second round later to lose more weight/weight elsewhere).

My drops (Hucog HCG) are currently mixed up as 5000 IU in 15 oz of B12. I have been taking a .5oz dose 2x a day so far. Can anyone tell me how many oz's per day I need to switch to with this current mix?

Does anyone also know if using a higher dose for 40 days (or the remaining 36 in my case) will require a longer "downtime" after P4 to get rid of immunity? I was previously told that if I'm only doing a 40 day course, I don't need to worry about skip days.

Thank you so much for your input!

Your losses are good. You will not lose a pound a day no matter what you have heard. And it's too soon to see how the distribution of losses will be. That often doesn't come until P3. I see more people complain of hunger on Belluscios's dosing and I've seen no evidence that there is better loss distribution on it. If you want better loss distribution, switch to shots.

Thank you for the quick reply and the advice. I'm 99% certain that I'm too chicken to do the shots, but if I'm not happy with the results of the first round, I may keep that in mind for the second. I'm curious as to why the shots would be better for loss distribution though...is there a thread where I can read up more about this?

    Thanks again for your help!

I have just noticed it personally on my own body. I'm not 100% convinced sublingual works the same as the shots. Belluscio's studies show no hcg in the blood. With the shots, if you take a pregnancy test it will be faintly positive and it will also show in the blood.

Nearly all of us do the injections with sq. The only IM he did is with a 2" needle deep into the butt muscle and we can't do that very easily.

Thanks so much Colleen, I am relieved ! I can do Im but everyday is kinda of painful !
I got my hcg and the doctor push for 6 days on hcg and 1 day off ( still on 500 kcal ). He claims in this way I can go on as long as I lost all the weight I need without stopping after 40 days and take the 6 weeks off.
Seems tempting but at the same time taking 3 weeks off to stabilize the first round results makes sense before loosing more.
Anybody tried a similar protocol ( 6 on-1 off hcg and repeat ) or tried to stay longer than 40 days on HGC with good results ?
    TIA !

Protocol is 6 days on and 1 day off a week BUT also stopping after 40 injections. your need the full 6 weeks off between round one and two for your skin to tighten up. If you don't do the breaks right, your skin will be a mess.

Thanks Colleen ! I will take the 6 weeks off !
So I really don't need to do 6 on 1 off, I can inject everyday for 40 days, then stop hcg but keep 500 kcal for 3 more days and then go in P3 .
I will resume the shots when in the next round I will be on P2 again. Hope I got it right !
