So far my research is showing that if you are taking more than 500mg per day, the dosage should be split up to taking it before breakfast and before lunch. One of the side effects is increased energy and thus the later you take it, the more you risk not being able to fall asleep at night. So, I will be changing my dosing to first thing when I wake up and then half an hour before lunch. I also found that the liquid form of L-carn is best apparently.

It depends on what site you read, but most say that for weight loss that 2,000mg per day is best but not to exceed that unless you are working out and taking it right before working out for the energy boost, then you can take more than that.

I have read everything days ago and it prompted me to order the vitamins. They have arrived!
So tonight or tomorrow morning I start my vitamin regimen.
AM- L-Carnitine (500-1500mg, not sure yet)
Lunch- Digestive Enzymes
PM- Probiotic
I hope this helps with stabilizing. I have done very well but hardly have had any P4 food. So maybe it will assist me to getting back to LDW and a little under! Wish me luck!

I read in a recent book (The Rosedale Diet) to take l-c in the morn and then again at night so the body continues to
metabolize fat while you sleep and the body is in repair mode. So, I've been trying that. I did question tho about the
falling asleep thing. I haven't had an issues w/ that. I have been falling asleep fine.
The lunch thing makes sense too.
Figures I just got my bulk order of l-c caplets in the other day. lol. I'll get the liquid next time
