How I lost 10 pounds in P4 with all the details hope this help.

How I lost 10 pounds in P4 with all the details hope this help.

Yes, I'm in P4, day 70. So here's what I did and it was a few weeks ago.

    On a Sunday I did a SD
Morning: pot of coffee with half and half
    Snack: green tea
    Lunch: more coffee
Dinner: I followed the P3 way to do a SD, fried it in butter and ate it with an apple, always lost more with an apple. And as far as the amount, as much as I could eat, any where from 16-18 oz. of meat.
    Next morning: lost 4.6

then four days later I did what I call a Tuna day, here are the details from a handout I have..

"TO AVOID A STEAK DAY: This method is not meant to take the place of a steak day. It is only intended to drop some weight when you are getting close to a required Steak Day.
If you see a Steak Day drawing near, you can do the following, which will usually bring your weight down a pound or so the next day. 1) Drink lots of water that day; 2) Don’t eat until lunch; 3) Have a whole can of tuna (water packed), or chicken with mayo on either lettuce or celery for lunch; 4) Have a big portion of protein for dinner with a small salad and 0-1 carbohydrate dressing (ex. Ranch); 5) If you are extremely hungry, you could also have 2 eggs for breakfast."
Note: I ate or drank something all day and it still worked.
Morning: pot of coffee and half and half
    snack: hard boiled egg
    snack: more coffee
Lunch: 6 oz can of tuna 1/4 cup of mayo and a cup full of celery
Dinner: I BBQ my steak 18 oz. this time and had it with a small salad with some Ranch.
    Next morning I lost 1.6
I did this cycle two times where I did a SD on a Sunday, four days later did the Tuna and so on and so fourth. And I did NOT exercise at all.

    Hope this helps.

So you safely got through P3 and stabilized first? Just curious. I'm about 5 lbs away from my goal and hoped to lose it without doing another round!

yes I was stable in P3 entire time, I never did a SD, was never over or under 1.0 of LDW and I didn't do this experiment until just a month or so ago.

If you do one steak day and one " Tuna or Chicken" and eat Beef for dinner, you lose 5lbs. And space the days apart like I did.

This is great! The handout info is a little confusing....
    - What is 0-1 carb dressing?
    - Do a steak day on Sunday; then four days later, a different kind of protein day, right?
    - Was the "Note" portion just further explanation?

So the second protein day (four days later), you eat tuna or chicken for lunch, & then beef for dinner, correct?

Question for you: were you ever a low carber before doing HCG?

    Ranch dressing is low carb.
on the fourth day after a SD I did the TO AVOID A SD, it is a high protein day I just do better when someone tells me what to eat and how much. Not sure what the rest is about the note, sorry, usually typing with a little one on my lap or at my feet, I'm a mom of four under seven years old. Here's the link to the hand out: The TO AVOID A SD is on the 3rd page, the 2nd paragraph down on the left hand side, hope this helps. http://hcgvictoria.files.wordpress.c...ence_guide.pdf I know it's P3 but it works for me because I eat P3 in P4, I do not eat sugar or starch.

correct, Some refer to the TO AVOID A SD as a High protein day but I just do better with black and white directions, my life is hectic and hand outs, simple directions and list of foods helps me. That's why I did so well on hcg, I'm a rules follower, but I did cheat a few days, only human. I pretty strict with my diet just because I struggled with my weight all my life. This is new to me and it's all thanks to HCG.
