Coming from a chocolate lover. What can I do?! Thoughts? Ideas?

Hello again everybody. So I'm on my first round in P2 and things have been going good so far. Seeing results is so encouraging. ;-) Anyways, I have been craving chocolate like mad and I am wondering... are there any harmless foods that can still give me a similar comforting satisfying sensation one gets from chocolate? And by craving, craving....... What do some of you do for that special kinda nibble?

    Thank you!

P.S I ate one jelly belly yesterday and I was in bliss for a fraction of a moment.

I don't know if this helps, but there is an herbal tea type drink called Yerba Mate that has a chocolate blend. I have never tried it so I don't know it it will help or not. I bought some Yerba Mate Energy Green tea but don't care for the taste. I will be playing around with stevia flavors til I find one that will make it more palatable for myself. Yerba mate(just google it or do a search on the forums here) is supposed to be a great drink to add to the hcg diet. It has many positive benefits including appetite supression, for that alone I want to drink it.

There is also a cheater's thread where stevia, cocoa and coconut oil or butter is melted together and then dropped by a spoon on a paper plate then refridgerated until firm. I won't go there, but the folks who have used this swear it is great and doesn't affect the protocol or your weight loss. Hope this helps.

There are liquid stevia drops that are flavored and one of them is chocolate. I don't know how they taste but I am ordering them real soon. You can find them on the web at vitacost.com or amazon.com. They are around $9 to $10 bottle which is cheaper than the local stores if you can find them in the local stores.

Although I am nuts about Cocoa-Crack, I will not succumb to it until P3. I recommend, as another did, Chocolate Stevia or Vanilla Stevia. Place a few drops in MINT herbal TEA and OOOO-LA-LA. I also enjoyed Yerba Mate tea with flavored stevia whilst on HCG. I've since returned to Coffee in the morning, now that I can have creamer...but starting R2, I am back to Yerba Mate.

I really enjoy the cocoa/stevia covered strawberries. You mix defatted cocoa (I use wondercocoa) and stevia powder and dip the strawberries into it, you may have wet a bit and then you freeze them....yum...! It works well on my chocolate cravings.
