    Unhappy Frustrated

Hi. I posted this earlier today in another forum. I am on day 12 in my first round of P1. I am going to a clinic for the program and am doing self injections in my tummy. The hcg is pre-measured and I am given 7 doses. Never did I think I could do that, lol! I got on the scale this morning and just about screamed. At my check in at the doc's yesterday, day 11, I was down 12 lbs. This was after eating lunch. Great, thinking I am doing really well. Today....UP 5. Can you believe this? I have documented, measured, weighed, followed the rules to the letter. No fats or oils, no makeup, no lotions or cosmetics with oils, real stevia without additives, no honking sized apples or deviation from the program. I am very determined as this program was not cheap. To say I am bummed is an understatement, really. If I wasn't so nervous today for a dentist appointment this afternoon, I'd just sit here and cry. I am an old babe, so TOM is not an issue. I am also drinking dieter's tea with no results and drink well over the necessary water along with unsweetened tea. The theory of stuff in, none leaving has caught up with me, but, 5 lbs worth. Ouch.

I had gastric bypass over ten years ago, and am wondering if this is a factor. I want to lose the bounce back I have experienced over ten years, mostly attributed to medications and lack of exercise due to some physical problems.

Try some smooth move tea, also magnesium supplements will help. There is also a supplement called Herbal fiber blend that is safe to take all the time and works wonders! It may also be some extra water. Keep on protocol, drink lots of water. It will all balance out.
I am down over 70 pounds total!!

I tried Injections! I tried Drops! Now I'm using a Revolutionary NEW hhCG Patch!

They also sell real hhCG Drops and pellets.

Dee. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. The only thing I can think of is perhaps bowel movements and medication...? I know some people have a slower more roller coaster time with certain meds

It might be the difference in the scales. Or your scales might be broken. I doubt it's an accurate weight. Do you weigh daily? You should be watching the scale so you can tell if you're having any issues.

Well, I am back down to my pre-gain weight. I did try dieter's tea to no avail, but did have a small "movement" this afternoon. I am sure there is a weight difference in scales, but I am using my scale for my stats. I doing more water so hopefully that will help. Also medication has been the major factor in some of my weight gain. Maybe losing pounds that one gains via medication is more stubborn that gains from twinkees and christmas cookies.

Thanks for the pointers and I'll update tomorrow when I get back on the scale.

    hi.
I am new to this group and on day 14 of phase 2 ( the VLCD). my loss is a bit dissapointing and i have been struggling. today i wanted to throw in the towel and was advised to get online and find encouragement from others on this diet. my start weight was 192lb and now 181. i thought i would lose at least a pound and a half per day for all the hard work invovlved. anyway, if there is anyone out there with about 40-50 pounds to lose who has had success, please tell me what to do. the last three days have seen 0.6 of a pound loss?!?! thanks.

The average loss is .5-.75 per day not the 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a day that you see advertised. You're actually doing really well, 11 pounds in 14 days. You're on the high side of average.
