To help myself stay focused on my goals during my 21 Day P1, and to make sure I celebrate small achievements during this time instead of waiting for the whole thing to be over, I setup seven milestones. These are seven events that I determined that I would achieve and, once accomplished, I would take the time to congratulate myself.
Milestone 1 is "Successfully complete VLCD1". I did it!
I choose foods within the VLCD plan, took my drops, worked through the desires to eat more than agreed, drank plenty of water and focused on what I could have and the benefits rather than on what I couldn't have and the disadvantages. D1 was tough, but I learned much from it and have a 7.2 drop to show for it.
