    Wow! You're not going to believe this!!!

    I was actually at 129.6 again this morning. After all those almonds and pork rinds last night! I am in shock. WTF How can that be? Well, I'm taking it as a "get out of jail free" card and I will NOT do that again, at least not anytime soon. Could it be that I won't have a problem with almonds this round? Like in the first round? I could barely eat them at all the second round. Whew! I dodged a major bullet! My stomach actually felt sore and yuck last night. So far today, no major diarrhea like yesterday. Maybe that's what saved me! I woke up hungry and tried to eat alot of protein first thing. Love, love love my coffee with heavy whipping cream and sugar free salty caramel syrup.

    Wanna know something funny? After eating the salad which was A+, I felt like I was in heaven. Then after eating the almonds, I had to lay down on the floor in front of the fireplace, alone, and just layed there eating them slowly and savoring every delicious bite and they were so freakin good. I was having a moment of sheer pleasure from eating and tasting what I've been craving for a month. And life was kind to me and cut me a break! Dh and I had bought a huge bag of raw almonds from Sam's a few months ago and we though, at the time, theyntasted boring due to not being roasted, so we roasted half the huge bag in the oven and dumped them back in and mixed all together. And I'm telling you, those dark, roasted ones were the bomb! BTW, if you care, Thursday is national Almond Day. And over 85% of the world's almonds are grown right in California. I plan on celebrating. Ha, in moderation, of course.

    Smile Just checking in.........

    Hi Everyone! Sorry I have not logged in for a few days. We have been trying to refi our house and getting ready for the appraisal has been very time consuming.

    The good news is ........I am so stable that I have weighed exactly the same for three days in a row. It is 0.8 lbs down from LDW and that is new for me, but I will take it. The other good news is ....... sounds like everyone is doing well and dodged the bullets of over indulgence. I too have been having fun with mug cake and nuts. I don't have a huge appetite and am concerned a little about it as we need to get our metabolism up to stabilize well. Still, I am not eating when I don't feel like it.

    This weekend I am going to try pizza using cauliflower instead of dough. Hope it goes well. Last night was a disaster, and an expensive one, as I tried to adapt a scalloped oyster recipe Louisiana style and it was a flop. We're talking almost $20 worth of oysters! Oh well........ live and learn. I think I will make some oopsie rolls for tomorrow. Hamburgers here we come! Also I bought some avocado to try a Dr. Oz recipe for tuna salad with avocado instead of mayonnaise. Wonder what that will taste like? Mayo isn't the issue, just that avocado is so good nutritionally.

    Has anyone else but me noticed that since starting P3 you are not so cold?

    Yummmmm, I just had bacon and eggs for 'brunch'. That was amazing. I put some tomato in my scrambled eggs and actually forgot the cheese. Guess I shouldn't over do it my first day of P3 eating. Tonight is the Valentine dance. As long as I stay away from the desserts the meal will be fine. My weight went up .8 yesterday and down 1.2 today. I tried some Lindt chocolate yesterday. That was nasty. It needs some sweetener. I will stick to cocoa crack, which I am about to go make. I'm also making broccoli with cheese for tonight's meal.

    Just a little night cap........

    Just to keep the good news flowing........ Today DH and I went out shopping, a rarity, and met a friend we hadn't seen for a while. She was open mouthed at seeing us. Said she was amazed at how trim we looked! Rob also met up with a man he hadn't seen in a while when they both ended up at the same convenience store. The guy, a fellow PA, said he almost didn't recognize him and that my husband has made him a HCG believer! Yea! Let the good times roll!!!!!!!

    Hellooooooo Where is everyone? Hope you are having a fun weekend. I did OK at last night's party. But I'm feeling kinda puny today so something I ate isn't agreeing with me. Could be something from last night or could be the cheese I had for lunch today. My weight is hanging around 202. A bit up and bit down.

    Hey guys! All this P3 talk is making me want to go there! Ahhhh! I'm going to continue til my drops are gone... 4 or 5 more days I'd assume. Looks like most of us on this thread dont get online over the weekend? Got my measurements in today.

    Changes since last measurement day - 20 days ago:

    +1 inch bust
    .75 in waist
    1 in thigh
    1.5 in hip
    Arm .5

    Total of 2.25 in chest in 38 days
    Total of 5.5 in waist
    Total of 3.25 in thigh
    Total of 3.5 in hips
    Total of 1.5 in bicep

    For weight - I was down .8 pounds today to 128.4. Which is good for me. I drank a ton of water last night.. survived Olive Garden carbicide with a salmon and asparagus that was definitely cooked in oil even though I asked for it without. I also had a mozzeralla stick later in the night (oooops!) and had 1 vodka water. I've ate clean today.. only had one meal because I wasnt hungry til 4 pm. So we'll see what the scale says tomorrow! I'm hoping for 128 or less!!

    Hey ladies - back up today. Freaking mozzeralla stick. Also realzied I didnt take my drops before I went to bed (even though I got up 3 times to pee last night). Woke up feeling starving... 300 calories with only 1 set of drops isnt healthy!! 129.4 for me.. so hoping for a big freaking loss tomorrow cuz I deserve it.

    hey Jenalyn! Crossing my fingers for you! I myself am down 1.5 pounds over the weekend. It has definitely slowed down in the last 10 days or so. I have been POP and haven't changed anything that I'm doing but I'm getting piddly .4 and .6 losses each day. It's funny cause I remember looking into what the highest amount of weight lost by a woman on an HCG round and I never found anything higher than 34 lbs. I really wanted to break that but I think I'll be sitting right there because as of today I have lost 33.4 lbs and my last shot it TOMORROW! So I have 5 more days of VLCD until P3...I'm getting excited!

    Yummy P3 Chicken Chile:

    14oz cooked chicken breast with fat removed (I boil and then shred)
    I can of rotel with chilies
    1 can of diced tomato's ( I instead took 4 tomato's and diced them up)
    1 can of green chilies
    8 oz of chopped onion
    1 jalapeno (chop)
    8 oz of chopped celery
    Add seasoning to taste

    I brought to a boil then simmer for a couple of hours. You can take the extra and portion it out and freeze it. Low calorie, low cars, low sugar!

    When you eat it you can add cheese or sour cream to it. I love it plain but will try some cheese on it later when it is cooked.

    Hi Jendaenie, P & I says NOT to loose more than 35lbs or go over 40 days of shots....... or is it 30 days? Anyway, I know Dr. S said no more than 35lbs bc it can lead to tolerance building up in your body, which would make the next rounds ineffective. Be careful! Most of us need two rounds or more in my case. Your losses have been really good. Remember 0.5 to 1.0 lbs a day is average. I haven't seen many go the one pound a day routine. My average was 0.54 lbs/day, I think. Best results are usually on Round 1.

    Sportymom! Thanks for the recipe. My nephew is on the HCG protocol also and I'm having him over for dinner tomorrow or Weds. We will have chillie, thanks to you. No Valentines Day dinner for us! I did make some Cocoa Crack with nuts, xylitol and a little salt. I will put it in tiny bowles and use tiny spoons to keep our hands from getting all chocolaty.

    Jane, are you feeling better? Could it be the Xylitol? Glad your night out was a good one.

    Jenaelyn, Don't worry about those off days. It is a marathon, remember? We are here for you and ready with P3 recipes and big cocoa crack smiles!
