    Starting Jan 19....Anyone else?

Im starting my drops in the morning & my first loading day. Im pretty nervous about taking them but know I can do it with no cheating. I may forget while Im making dinner for the rest of the family and lick a spoon or test, but Im sure I will be good other wise. My family & I already eat pretty healthy so portion control is going to be the difference & my husband is willing to continue eating my meals just a fuller plate.

Anyone want a buddy? I am going for 50 lbs long term goal but will take what I get on this round.

    Hi kelico,
I just started my HHcg drops this morning too! I would love to follow along this journey with you.
I have never done the HCG diet before and I don't know anyone who has tried it before. I did lots of reading about it and it seems like it should work... and all the testimonials convinced me to give it a try. Hope it works!
My family also eats healthier than most and I make just about everything from scratch... I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking for hubby and 4 kids! My challenge for this diet will be my constant exposure to food and the kids always saying, "Mom, I'm Hungry!" I hope the drops really work to curb hunger, so I am less tempted to eat the foods around me. I am also resolved not to cheat on this diet... I will be faithful!
What kind of drops did you get? I got mine from the "OfficialHCGdiet" site. A 90 day supply, as I have between 50-60 lbs. to lose. I'm plan on doing a 40 day round this time.
What are you eating for LOADING today? So far I had 2 eggs fried in butter and a slice of buttered toast. I also drank part of a 32 oz. mocha protien shake.
Well, I could go on and on.....but we will have time to get to know each other as we go. Bye for now.

    Hey Faithful,

I purchased the Triumph 26x2 drops from "HCGDIET.COM" when they were half price for the new year. I know people who have taken these drops
and have done great on them. A girlfriend and I have been weight loss buddies and she always cheats and gets mad because she doesnt lose anything
and was going to give this a try. So I thought I would do it with her, well she chickened out cause she wouldnt be able to stick to it. And when she decided
that I had already purchased them. So because I know I can do it and pretty much live off of the diet already I am keeping with it.

My breakfast today was left to my son. I told him we can have whatever he wants. So we had Hotdogs....I had 4 2 with buns 2 with out, cheese & ketchup & mustard.
I already feel like vomiting. I dont eat hotdogs to begin with and 4 was pushing it over the edge. I had to force myself to eat that as well. I dont have much of an appetite
    even before the drops.

Did you weigh yourself and take measurements this morning? I did and marked it all down. Also do you take vitamins at all? I take the B's in drop form & a multi.

I have requested you as a friend on here but maybe I can add you to face book?

Ewww! Hotdogs for breakfast! Wow... I can tell you are truly dedicated to Loading Day (and your son). Occassionally, I will eat the natural weiners roasted over an open campfire.
Yes, I took down starting weight and measurements this morning. I am looking forward to seeing some improvements.
My drops recommend 3x10 drops per day. I took my first dose at 8am and another at 2 pm.
I am not really hungry today either. I started lightly loading 2 days ago because I have been restricting my calories since the beginning of the year. Also, I did not want to feel like I had to totally pigout for these two days and feel miserable. However, I am managing to eat plenty. I am currently snacking on almonds. I had a salad with veggies including avocado and sunflower seeds with ranch dressing for lunch. I also had a few squares of chocolate. I am planning on making Beef Stroganoff with mashed potatoes for dinner.
I do take vitamins and plan to take some during protocol. My drops are already mixed with B-12 so that is taken care of.

Sorry your friend backed out. I am glad you decided to move forward and I hope we can encourage each other!

I know I dont eat hot dogs any other time nor camping. I seen how they are made and they are not for me. I didnt have much of an appetite today and had to keep reminding myself to eat and snack on things. Im not sure if Im eating fatty enough food though and enough of it. I am told the more the better but I can hardly force myself to eat more then my norm. I had my husband favorite dinner tonight and he was excited to see gravy on the table. Since I make dinner he is forced to eat what I make and I stopped the gravies, creamed anythings a while ago. I hope tomorrow I feel like eating because the next day I wont have the option.

I'm not sure how to anticipate the first VLCD. Will I be so stuffed from the two previous days that food won't interest me OR will I be wanting food because I have been eating wildly for the past two days? I guess time will tell.
Glad to see you started a blog. I think it will be a good place to keep track of thoughts, feelings, foods, weights, measurements, etc.. a record of this journey.

I cant seem to keep eating....I forget and I am worried about it. I was told the more the better but I cant force myself to. I get busy and look at the clock and its been 3 hours since I put anything in my mouth. This isnt going to be good. And I know darn well that tomorrow I am going to be so hungry cause I cant eat. I asked a questions on a HCG facebook page and my mother seen it and now whats to do this. I havent told anyone I was doing it not even my husband. Guess the cat is out of the bag and everyone is going to know my secret. I just didnt want to tell anyone yet just in case it failed. I didnt want to look like a loser! Anyway, I went and got a sick dozen donuts last night at tim Hortons just so that when I did forget I can grab one and eat a gross fatty donut to catch up. It doesnt seem to work cause I still have a box of donuts on my counter. Ha ha ha. Well lets hope tomorrow things will go better and I wont have an issue when I forget to eat.

How are you planning on incorporating your meals with your familys? Do you have recipes to help you with it?

    Hi Kelico,
Sorry you are having a hard time force feeding yourself.
I was thinking about this earlier today... normally I would have no problem eatting fatty foods and continually snacking all day long - oh how happy I would be - but now that I have "permisssion" to eat like a pig, I don't want to. Somehow it seems we always want what we can't have and don't want what we can have does that make sense?
I have not been very hungry today either. I'm trying to eat high fat foods, but not massive quantities of food since my stomach feels like it is my throat! So far today I've had bacon, eggs, peanut butter, chocolate, coffee with heavy cream, avocado, multigrain tortilla chips. I plan on making pan pizza for dinner (lots of olive oil, sausage, and cheese) then some whole milk yogurt for a bedtime snack. I am trying to get enough water down too, but it is tough when I feel so full.
As far as cooking for the family, I will probably make them regular meals and just batch cook for myself. For example, I plan on cooking up about 4 boneless skinless chicken breast at a time and just keep them in the refrigerator. When it is time to eat I can easily get my portion and eat with a veggie. I plan on keeping it simple... it will be boring, but it is only for a little while. As long as the results are good I will stay motivated! One thing I am concerned about is not being able to taste their meals while cooking them... how will I be able to properly season things? I'm sure I'll manage, but that's how I cook - dump and taste! Also, what about touching meats and fats? I was thinking about getting some disposable vinyl gloves to wear when I cook. What if I need to skin/debone a chicken or form hamburger patties etc... how critical is it do you think? What about washing dishes and greasy pans... do I need to wear gloves? Which leads to the question of cosmetics, and hygiene products... hmmm what are your thoughts? My biggest concern is lotion and chapstick. It is really dry this time if year.
It is a bummer that everyone is finding out about your HCG "secret". I am not telling anyone either (except my husband and he gave me the O.K. to try it). I don't want to deal with people's opinions of this type of diet. To be honest, I ususally don't tell people when I am doing any dieting. period. I feel to much pressure with everyone watching with critical eyes. It takes me a long time to lose weight and with my bodytype (large frame and athletic build) it usually takes a loss of about 20+ pounds before anyone will notice I'm shrinking... I am one of those who carries my weight well. Ha-Ha
Hope the rest of your day goes better... the next few days should be encouraging!

I seen my parents tonight during our every Friday night dinner and my mom never mentioned anything about it, so its not that big of a deal I guess. My dad offered us left overs to bring home and I said I didnt want any myself but maybe my husband Mike would. He asked if I was going to go on a diet and I said yeah. So he was happy that I decided to do it and was upset that our friday dinners may come to an end. He knows that I have been watching what I eat in the past so he always had a good spread for dinner even healthy stuff so I cant see a problem in the future. My sister has a eating disorder so my parents are always noticing if we are lighter or heavier in anyway. So I am sure they will notice it as soon as it starts coming off.
The products I use are oil free already so I am not worried about that to much. I dont use foundation and if I do I use powder mineral makeup I bought from TV. I have chapstick in every jacket pocket and purse, its something I DONT live without. I dont think touching the foods and such will be to big of an issue and you can always buy gloves. One for doing the dishes and one for cooking, Just make sure you wash the cooking ones like youd wash your hands. That will also save on money and enviroment.
Well Saturday is the big day where we start our VLCD and I am kind of excited.

How did VLCD1 go for you? Mine went fine. No unbearable hunger, no headache. I did feel like I wanted to eat all day because that is what I'm used to. Just a habit... I 'm sure that feeling will diminish. I didn't eat enough calories. I misjudged my portion sizes. I think I was afraid to eat too much. I did get all my liquids in though. I think this diet will be alright Looking forward to jumping on the scale in a little while. I'll let you know how it goes.
