That looks good to me as long as you drink your 2 qts of water and weigh your meat to 3.5 oz or 100 grams. Today for lunch I had garlic shrimp mixed in steamed spinach and then an apple and cinnamon with a little extra virgin coconut oil. Think I'll head out to Whole Foods to buy some flavored Stevia. Probably have chicken for dinner with a green salad. Hope everyone weighs in with a good number tomorrow!

I must have missed something...I hear a people talking about eating coconut oil. Can I eat that on P2??? I didn't even think I could use cal. free cooking spray. ? for people using it? Are you still having good loses and would you recommend adding it to the P2 diet in moderation or should I stay strickly legal?

I have been eating the chocolate delight for the last 2 days and also using coconut spray to cook my fish in and have no problems at all. There is alot written about coconut oil as far as it's fat burning properties, unlike other oils. But you may want to wait until you reach Phase 3...I just haven't had any problems with it.

I lost another 1.5 pounds today!

I've been having some pretty bad cramps the past few days, too. In my stomach and thighs, which is where I have the most weight to lose. Does rapid weight loss cause this sometimes?

I've been really craving hot soup lately. I read on a hcg recipe book that some people could "cheat" with chicken broth and still lose weight. I don't really want to risk it by buying the canned version, but I know I can make homemade chicken broth with protocol ingredients. Would that be alright? Thank you

I can't get into my weight tracker, but, after 7 days on the HCG (doctor monitored) I am down 11 pound exactly if I count the load days. This past weekend was difficult due to a hospitalization because of a migraine. I didn't get in my food at all and was on IV fluids for 2 days basically. Today I'm back to normal (if normal can define me) and am back on the program to the T with my water intake and food intake. Hoping to break the 220 mark and enter the teens arena in a day or too. Cravings all but gone as well. I know I had a really hard time with wanting everything I saw on a commercial Saturday.

    Hi Everyone!

So today I am down another 1.4lbs!!

I am working an afternoon shift today (not something I do very often) and so I slept in a bit....I don't feel like I got all my water in and when I woke up I forgot to take my vitamin and I spent most of the morning lightheaded and woozy.....has anyone else had this happen?? As soon as I remembered and took the vitamin I felt better....weird

I have 2 days off starting tomorrow - which I am excited about after a 10 shift stretch!!
I am going to try some new recipes - it's strange but all of the recipes I have tried so far have been delicious - not a bad one ever. My favourite though is the chicken cajun wraps - it is amazing!!!

I have a question though - is it true that you can't mix veggies in a meal?? And if so - why???

    Well I better run....
    Oh....congrats on the loss mcnarnicles!!!

Some people can mix a few veggies and not have it impact their weight loss. I would try it out and see if it works for you.

    And thank you

    Checking in--

    Checking in--

Good Morning All! Well, it's a slowwww process for me but I am now at the lowest weight I have been in 4 years..... Losing less than .5 lbs/avg per day but ya' know what??--that is a better average than I have had on ANY other diet plan EVER!! SO--as slow and discouraging as it gets some days-- I'll take it!!

I do get excited for everyone else, tho' and am glad we are in this together!!

    I learned something last night--

I went out to dinner with friends to my favorite upscale gourmet Mediterranean restaurant. I LOVE everything on their YUMMY menu!!

BUT---- while everyone else ordered bar drinks or wine, I ordered a 32 oz bottle of sparkling water and lime. (LOL --and drank every drop!)

While everyone else ordered delicious appetizers--soups, housemade flat bread with wild mushrooms and gooey fontina cheese, etc, etc., I ordered PLAIN arugula salad with lemon wedges.

While everyone else ordered house made pommes frites, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato gnocchi, etc., all with wonderful creamy sauces and dips, I had steamed asparagus.

While everyone else had smoked duck or grilled hanger steak, ravioli with alfredo sauce, I had grilled plain white fish with lemon slices

While everyone else had housemade--gorgeous--Tiramisu, 7 layer chocolate hazelnut cake, creamy gelato and sorbet, I had decaf coffee.

Even though I drooled at the sight of their food, the Chef was very accommodating and my choices were absolutely beautiful and delicious!

When everyone else got up from the table, they complained that they were stuffed and had eaten wayyyy too many calories. When I got up from the table, my shirt slid down over my hips where it had previously been SO TIGHT!!!

I was very satisfied and completely comfortable with NO GUILT. I didn't feel the least bit deprived well, maybe just a little...

And, when I got up this am--I had lost another pound!

SO, I learned that I don't always need to have all that food to be satisfied and that I can go out and have a perfectly good time and stay on plan. AND-- that I can lose weight while doing it!!

Hope you are all having a GREAT day!

    LP

That is great, LollyPop! I hope I can do the same this weekend...I take my mom out to dinner every week (she's 90 and that's her big day out...she lives in an assisted living facility) so I'm trying to figure out what I can eat! Unfortunately, there are only a few I can take her to that she is familiar with...if I change it up alot she gets very disorientated and really messes with her mind.. poor thing...Mexican, Chinese and a local grill are my choices...agh!!!! I'll figure it out even if I just sit there and watch her eat and eat later at home! Great job everyone!!!!
