Ruby, I have the same trouble with my nutritionist's scale. Hers weighs heavier than my home scale...I just use the one with the best reading!!
I had my first loading day yesterday and it was heavenly. I swung by the cheesecake factory and picked up a big piece of cheesecake for lunch! The girl behind the counter was like, do you need 2 forks? Ummm..no...it's all for me!Then I went do dinner at Mahogany (a super nice steak place in Omaha) and ordered everything dripping in butter. It was such a great night....I washed everything down with wine...ahhhhh! One more day and this past night will be something I lay down and replay in my head when I am starving!
Still looking forward to getting down into all the clothes in my closet. Most of my clothes are 12 or 14 and I am squeezing into a 16 right now! Ugh! I am planning on doing another round later this summer but for now am just focusing on this one.
Good luck to everyone today!!!!!!!!!
I also woke up .6 pounds heavier than yesterday...and going along with your TMI, I also finally went to the bathroom and was expecting a few pounds gone, lol. Nope.
But I'm not too upset. I looked back at my first round and it reminded me that I would go several days being up or neutral in pounds, and then one day I'd lose three or four. In the end, I lost 25. I'm 2 pounds less in weight loss compared to last round's day seven, but I'm okay with that. :-) I still have at least 14 days left to lose!
Have a good day everyone!
jaymie227 - i live in lavista so your not to far from me at all..i love mahogony!!! I am up 2 lbs since and on day 3 of loading...doing a 40 day cycle!! I have mixed feeling about monday but eager to get the heart of the matter and start losing.
Okay. Here is the hard part for me. My job involves cooking. I am in a kitchen surrounded by non protocol food all day long. Or, if I'm not in the kitchen cooking and baking, I'm out front serving giant cookies, cheesy frittatas, cakes, scones, fattening soups etc. I just finished making oatmeal / strawberry / chocolate scones and I'm about to start making gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies that are to die for.
Okay. I can do this for 40 days. Yes, I can. I don't want any of those foods anyway. They are the ENEMY. BAD FOODS. FAT FOODS.
