    May Day Starters!!!!

    I'm putting this thread together for anyone starting on or around May 1, 2011!!

    This is my third round. R2 was a bust for whatever reason. 10-15 pounds to go.

    Come one, come all Round 1 or whatever!!!!

    Yea! Starting R2 on May 1st. I *think* is my goal is 15 pounds - I really have to wait and see how I look and feel!




    R2 (4/30/11) - 34 days 172.8 - 150.8 lbs = 22.0 lbs LDW
    R1 (2/14/11) - 32 days 201.6 - 172.4 lbs = 29.2 lbs LDW

    Lost 50 lbs prior to HCG running and cross training - now down 100lbs total!

    i'm planning to load april 24-25, can i join your group too?!? Easter is a big day for my mom, she makes a big meal and since my HCG is still on its way, i figured i shouldn't start any sooner because waiting til then won't hurt! but i don't want to wait til May i want to get started asap, and Easter will be a perfect load day. i have just recently decided to do a 40 day round, mostly because i have gained a little weight since i decided to do the diet and my original plan of 30 days wasnt going to cut it. soooo i'm gonna do 40 days, with skipping every Saturday to avoid immunity. so my round will eventually come out to be about 46 VLCD days, i think. i really hope i can do it without cheating! i've actually done this diet twice before, i cheated the first time and didn't get good results at all. the second time i did great with no cheating, but totally messed up p3 and ate starchy carbs without really knowing it! didn't do enough research on the foods i ate. but this time i am starting to prepare WAY early, obviously! lol i am determined to lose this weight that i have been yoyo-ing with for years.

    Goal weight: 110-115 lbs.

    Loading Day 1 Starting weight: 140.4 lbs.
    Loading Day 2 ------------------: 143.4 lbs.
    VLCD Day 1 start weight------: 144.0 lbs.
    VLCD 11--------------------------: 132.8 lbs.

    Niccole, are you maintaining at your LDW?

    Jilly, do you think you have a food sensitivity? My problem is cream cheese, mozzarella, and gluten. I got blood taken today for food sensitivities.

    I'm considering a 40 day round with maybe a planned interruption in the middle to give my mind a break so I can finish out strong. I had a problem with cheating this round. Much more than R1, thought I'm not sure why??? Sounds like you both have good plans!!!!

    Yay!!! Im loading over Easter if I can wait. This will be round one take two. Hopefully i will be much more successful now that i have learned the devastating trail of destruction one cheeto can lead you down. I curse you cheetos. Since i became a pumkin eater for what seemed to go on a week i thought i would take a break for my birthday and load like hell on chocolate easter bunnies and cadburry eggs....

    Meridith - I am doing very well maintaining at LDW. I am day 3 of P4 - still nervous about adding foods because I feel very satisfied eating P3. I put on a pair of size 8 jeans for the first time today and it felt amazing. My goal when I started all this was size 10. I have a feeling I have wheat flour/ yeast issues - just not ready to test those waters - maybe next week :-)

    I plan to do a 30 day round like last time.

    I will be here too... May 1st is my birthday and plan on loading on that weekend.. This will be my second round and shooting for 10-15 pounds. I did injections on my first round and wished I could do that again but do to costs I will be doing drops from a doctor. I just really hope everything goes as it did on the last round.

    Yay. I'm excited and scared for the wait! How hard can it be to lose 15 pounds, right?

    For anyone having thyroid problems, fatigue, fogginess, etc., here's a little write up about my testing I got done with the doctor that gives me HCG. He is a full approach doctor, in my opinion.

    So my doctor visit....yesterday I think.....They took like 14-15 vials of blood. The doctor had to take it because the nurse couldn't get my veins to give blood after a lot of digging. OUCH!!! He felt my hands and said they were too cold and too dry. He looked at me and said there is definitely some sort of imbalance going on. We talked about how much I exercise and how hard it is for me to keep weight off and easy it is to gain it. We talked about Thyroid vs. Adrenal fatigue and how any number of things could be out of balance. I will be getting LEAP testing which is MRT testing for food allergies http://www.healthydirectionspoway.co...ng___LEAP.html. For some reason it doesn't include Gluten, but I'm pretty sure that's out anyway based on my history. Today, I get the pleasure of spitting into little vials every four hours, where they will be measuring my cortisol levels throughout my day to see if I process it enough from my adrenals. It should be interesting because I felt like crud again when I woke up (foggy, tired, achy). I'm sure they'll find something out of whack.

    I'll be in Europe this Thursday through next Friday. Can't wait. So even though I'm not posting, I'll be thinking of you all and def will post pics later!!!
