Hello and happy VLCD8, (well, to me anyway

)! I'm down 7 for my first week and last night I plunked another .6 down. My only dissapointment this last week was that I lost another inch in my chest...but on the positive side, i lost one in my hips as well. I like to measure every week...keeps me motivated with the small losses!
So last night I took a risk and tried SHIRITAKE Noodles, aka "miracle noodles". Made sure to rinse them REAL WELL and put them in a pan to heat em up with a little stock and garlic. I made a fantastic homemade marinara. Breaded my chicken in a crushed up Melba and baked it, put it all on my noodles and POW!! I had one heck of a meal!! Emerill would be proud...
http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...1/bc95d763.jpg the "noodles" took me about .2 seconds to get used to...they obviously chew more like a veggie than a pasty ole piece of nasty, fat producing pasta! But they slurp and suck up the same...so my daughter says!! I only ate half the package so it added a whopping 10 calories to my dinner for a grand total of 210 calories!!
So, for those on r1p2, I suggest you try at your own risk as this is rogue. R2'rs...you know your bodies' good luck!
