mgsondance.. when i skimmed thru the P&I on page 64 Food choices.. it does list on the veggie side that you can have green and red peppers.. please correct me if i am wrong. thanks
peppers are not on the Dr. S protocol but what we must remember is the time and setting when this protocol was written. Our clinic has added peppers to the list as acceptable veggies after close review of their breakdown. (as well as several others) - like many variations - Cherylbern, try them; if they work for you then your blessed- if they don't you will know it - as you do this journey you get to know your body - mine does not like tomatoes even tho I love them!

I had them today and LOVED it.
I did 2 cups of Cabbage, half cup of peppers, half cup onion. Fried it all till tender ( used one teaspoon coconut oil) then added 4oz of cooked chicken, use the franks hot sauce and garlic as a marinade the night before and cooked the whole lot this morning. So I have 3 more servings on hand.
It was fab!
Is it possible to get the list of veggies that are not on the protocol but on the one that the peppers are on? I would love to have peppers on this diet (p2).
Thank you
there are a number of modifications- the most common ones allow green peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans and zucchini.
