    TOM and stall, do I do an apple day?

    I have continued my sub-q inj this week throughout my TOM and for 2 days of TOM I stalled, then gained .2 pound, and then stalled at that weight. So, I have gone 4 days without a loss, but have been on TOM for those days. Today should be my last day, but I'm not sure if the same rules apply if I wake up and still have no loss. Do I do an apple day? I'm on VLCD24 P2 and have lost almost 24 lbs.

    Hello! I have been at a stall for 5 days this week due to my TOM as well! It is so frustrating!!! I have not moved an ounce since Monday. I am on VLCD 18 and I'm down 15 lbs. The HCG clinic here says that's normal and weight loss should resume when my TOM is gone. Hang in there! Hopefully we will be down tomorrow!

    The scale will start moving again when TOM ends. It did for me the very next day. Your body is retaining water. I wouldn't do an apple day since your body might need the protein during that time.

    agree w/ Pax. TOM is a bitch, wouldn't you be retaining if not on hcg? And how much? For me, I've gone up 9 lbs, but usually 4 to 7 lbs. THis time you are wondering why only a .2 gain? that's amazing! Wait a few day into TOM and you are sure to see a whoosh in the numbers. AND you are still losing fat, just retaining water. Don't freak out so easliy! hard to with good losses at beginning but stalls are NORMAL especially DURING TOM.

    then if you don't lose when TOM is up, do a protein day, and you'll surely kick it back into gear. Apple days work, too, but protein days seem to have less rebounding (from what I've read.) That's where you eat protein all day, just picking at it, and maybe an apple too. I did 12 oz of shredded chicken, just picked all day long. Couldn't finish it, didn't need to, had an apple that night and was allll good... forget the losses but it jumped me back to losing, right at end of P2.

    I cooked up 12 oz of chicken and picked and could NOT eat it all by the end of the night. Had bites here, bites there. Or you could just do your 2 servings of protein (100g times 2) but I think the "picking all day" throws your metabolisma bone, kicks it in. Some do a 200g portion at one sitting, then an apple. I truly think either would work, but some people can't "not" eat all day. You're on day twentysomething you prob can't eat a 7 oz portion in one sitting after all the clean eating ... try picking all day. Don't feel compelled by my 12 oz, that was me. I probably ended up eating 9 to 9.5 oz of it, b/c I finished it the next day.

    My TOM ended last night and no loss as of this morning. =(
    THis is depressing.
    If no loss by tomorrow I'm going to freak out.

    I'm sorry. Hopefully tomorrow the scale will be your friend. Try to think that if you aren't losing pounds, you are losing inches.
