    Good Morning everyone!

Well, I'm down 1 pound today. Very good. When TOM shows up next week I won't be too happy, so I'm trying to enjoy the losses while they last

@MsKnitter: You know, I live in SoCal, and NEVER had cactus..in the Caribbean where I grew up, we don't at them. Or maybe some people do, but I never heard of it. They just make juice and it's gross. My dad drinks it every morning. Congrats on the baggy jeans. It feels soo good to validate all your hard work by putting away baggy clothes. Yay!

@Faithful- A late dinner sometimes shows up in the scale for me, but I've had extra fish plenty of times without problems. I had almost 8 oz of Mahi for lunch yesterday LOL...it was sooo delicious I couldn't stop eating it. I'm sure the scale will go back down tomorrow for you. It most likely is your lack of "activity" in the BM dept.
Btw, how do you eat Tilapia?? It always just tastes like dirt to me. I just can't eat it.
I'll just get some magnesium citrate. The reviews on Amazon for that Natural Calm powder are amazing. I almost want to try it just to prove them wrong lol. A lot of people say they had to increase their dose until they started to notice an effect. Maybe your dose wasn't high enough??

Hope everyone else is doing well!

@Msknitter and Lily 818 - Godd job. Nothing better than putting on a pair of pants and having them loose.

No loss again today. So bummed. Two weeks and only 10 pounds. I cut the salt and increased my water. I work out everyday for at least an hour so I've increased my protein. Thinking I need to cut that down. Also I messed up the day before yesterday and had ground turkey. Maybe that did it. Uggggghh.

I'd strongly suggest laying off the exercise. It just sounds like too much. This is mentioned all over the forums. Do some searches on exercise during P2 and you'll see lots of info and other people's experiences. Your body can't handle such a restrictive diet plus an hour of exercise every day, AND you're also at at BMI of 25 and you're 5'11"! I think expecting fast weight loss at this point giving all the factors is unrealistic. The closer you are to goal weight the harder it gets. Why is 160 your goal weight? Do you still have 22 pounds of abnormal fat???

I know two girls that are 5'11"...both are in great shape, neither is below 180. Are you tall but small boned? Have you had kids? If so, you mentioned you've been at 160 before. Were you at 160 before or after pregnancy?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to get you to think about all the possible factors that might be at play here.

You increased water and lowered salt. I'd drastically lower exercise for a few days and see how you do. How much extra protein are you eating compared to the calories you're burning during exercise?

Also, you could post this in the Ask Grammy Thread and see what her suggestion is. Good luck

Nopales have a flavor like part string bean, part green bell pepper and very little bit okra. They are also a little acidic. I like them a lot. You don't need to add an acid like lemon or tomato when you cook them. I can't imagine drinking the juice unless it's from the fruit. Yuck.

Down another half lb or so today. Hurray for me and everyone else!

@Lilly818 I bake my tilapia filet in the oven with lemon pepper. I didn't notice it tasting like dirt.

    Confession time:
I had 3 cups of coffee today, hoping to produce a laxative effect. I hate drinking my coffee with just stevia- blah! I managed to get the first two down, but to the 3rd cup I added a splash of milk and a sprinkle of xylitol.
Drinking this much coffee made me feel yuck, plus the xylitol I think raised my blood sugar- double yuck!
A while after the coffee, I needed to eat... like NOW! I was soooo hungry!
I did not have any protocol food prepared, so I grabbed a can of albacore tuna in water. I ate the whole can, except the bite I gave to my begging, crying cat. Then I ate an apple. I felt better physically, but mentally - ugh! I think I screwed this day up! I guess I'll find out tomorrow- sigh.

I'm sorry to say, I think you put the coffee in the wrong end LOL, it is so much for effective as an enema, and you don't get the coffee buzz that way.

It is the best way to detox the liver, which is helpful because P2 is so hard on the liver. The liver is the organ that has to process and metabolize all of this stored fat we are trying to get rid of so quickly, and the fat stores are where our body locks away most of the toxins in our body. I feel SO much better immediately after a coffee enema and the improvement lasts 2-4 hours for me.
Here are some links for coffee enema info and instructions:

I eat a tbsp of salsa with all my meals, except with beef. Trader joes home style salsa. Check ingredients for no added sugars or oils.

I use a few tablespoons of Pace salsa almost everyday to flavor my food. It has no added sugar or oil and a big bottle is cheap at Costco or Smart & Final. If it wasn't for salsa and hot sauce, it would hard for me to do this diet as well.

Also want to share a discovery...might already be obvious to some of you but I you don't need harmful nonstick to stirfry veg without oil. Just low med heat, stir often and use some water to occasionally dissolve that delicious layer that sticks to the bottom of the pan. Been enjoying my caramelized onions since I discovered this...

I am 5'9" and when I was 145-160, my friend told me to eat something. I was anorexic and bulemic then too.
