    Wanting to throw in the towel! Wave the white flag!! Kick me in the butt please!!

    This is my 2nd round. I did my 1st round last July & did quite well. I gained back only a few pounds over the Holidays but already had a goal of 12 more b4 those few pounds.
    Anhow I am on day 15. I've lost 13.5 lbs. So I am doing well.
    I'm not hungry. But I seriously cannot stop wanting something else. And it's not that I want junk food. I just want something more then a sirloin or white fish or shrimp. I don't even think its a carb or sweet craving.
    I want an egg & some turkey sausage.
    I want a cheeseburger. Doesnt even need to have a bun.
    I want a salad w/ vinegar & oil and some meat & cheese in it. I want a glass of milk. I want a homemade taco.
    For whatever reason I am miserable about it this time around. I feel like a junkie. I can't stop thinking about other food, I can't focus.
    I had 2 slices of cheddar a few days ago as a snack. No gain.
    Then I had a few hershe kisses another day, no gain.
    Then I had a few potato chips. gain 1.5. that's gone now.
    I cooked my shrimp in garlic and a drop of olive oil. no gain.

    Im only doing a 23 day round but even the thought of going for another week is driving me nuts.
    Can I add anything on w/out ruining what is left of this diet? And have I ruined my resetting w/ the cheats that I did do? what gives? why is this so difficult? I can't say that I'm really hungry.

    Whatcha think? Advice? Tips?

    I could've written your post! I cheated twice- once with sashimi and the other was 1 bite of jambalaya. I'm on day 23 and I'm supposed to do 40 days. I don't know that I'm going to make it. I just want other food! I want eggplant parm, fig and quinoa salad, lentil soup! I'm not hungry either. It just hit me 3 days ago... I had zero cravings and zero hunger till 3 days ago. I can't stand this much longer. I am crossing my finger that my period is coming and causing this. Blah

    Tmoon how many rounds have you done? And are you still progressing w/ your losses?

    I guess I've officially stalled thanks to my cheats. 2 days in a row w/ now loss now. No gain but no loss. I need to decide today am I going to see this thru the correct way? and maybe shed a few more. It's 7 more w/ hcg and the 3 more vlcd w/out the hcg. I dunno if I can do 10 more days.

    DON'T give up! I did the protcol about a year ago and gave up with 10 days left on P2. I STILL regret it. 10 days is nothing compared to resetting your metabolism and being DONE with dieting. Just imagine only having to maintain a 2 lb. variance instead od fighting 10 - 20 lbs all the time. Its so worth the sacrfice to go without what your food addiction is telling you that you want. Don't let it take away what you've already done. Stay true to yourself. You can meet you goal but You have to remain dedicated.

    If you stop now you'll regain those 13 pounds you've lost. So hang in there and kick the cravings to the curb. Focus on how you'll look in your bathing suit when summer gets here. And it's coming quickly! Go buy a pair of jeans in a size too small and focus on getting into them. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.

    I could have written your post, too, lorijmx4. It's natural for us to eat a variety of foods so of course we want things not on the protocol - don't beat yourself up for being totally normal. The sameness gets to me big time. I am counting down the days until I can have a mixed salad and some cheese, lemme tell ya.

    I don't see why you can't have one egg yolk and three egg whites for one of your proteins. Isn't that on the Simeons protocol?

    You made it through 3 weeks, you can do one more! Hang in there! You know it's worth it!

    I'm right here with you....

    My suggestions to make it through....

    Get a pound of ground chicken - its about $5.

    Divide it into your 100g portions ( I would make 5 portions, at whatever weight that comes out to be.)

    Portion 1 - Sausage: Season with sage, poultry seasoning, thyme, salt and pepper, few drops of water. eat with zuchhini sauted in water.
    Portion 2 - Burger: Season with salt, pepper, ground mustard, garlic powder, few drops of water. eat on lettuce leaves with sugar free ketchup, pickles, mustard, and sauted onion
    Portion 3 - Taco: season with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper. Add water or broth and cook like taco meat. Eat on shredded lettuce with a dollop of fat free fage and diced tomato
    Portion 4 -Meatballs: season with salt, pepper, water, onion powder, garlic powder. bake and eat in chicken broth with spinach.
    Portion 5: I'd make another burger, but that's just me!

    Ground chicken is not on protocol, just so you know. It's breast meat only. If you can get some breasts ground up, then you'd be okay.

    Grammy's right. It is ground chicken breast and that's why the chicken is $5/lb. At my Kroger, it's in the case with the ground turkey.

    Fat free fage is not on protocol either. Also you should probably eat fish for your other meal on a day that you do this just to make sure you stay under the 500 calories.
