    Hmmm... Just Wondering

    Hi there. I am in my first round and my official last day of P3 is supposed to be today, though I think I want more time. The issue (if you can call it that) is I am still loosing weight. I have lost a total of 4 additional pounds in the 21 days. I just want to be sure this is ok. I am pretty stable, though yesterday I added in Whey Protein Shakes because I am working out each day and got up this morning and lost 1.6??? I was pretty shocked to say the least. I have been staying between 125 and 124 for weeks now. I am just shocked I would jump like that when it is my last day and I thought I had stabilized. Any thoughts?

    will be anxious to hear the responses from this - I am right around the corner from P3 - and I think when I get done - I will only have about 5 lbs to go to get to my "dream" weight - and I was hoping not tohave to do another round. I am really nervous about P3 - and I am anxious to get back to exercising. I sooo hope that I have this problem instead of gaining!

    I was really nervous too but you just take it day by day and go reallllllly slow. I added in cheese and almonds and walnuts right away and did not have any problems. I ate shrimp and I gained. So you just have to listen to your body. I kind of did things a bit different. I stayed away from bacon and high fat foods that eventually will put me right back to where I was before which is over weight. I eat healthy and even some fat free and low fat even though you are supposed to be eating full fat according to some. It just was not for me. I eat a ton of calories and good fats like nuts, avocados, and olive oil. I just can't eat the sweets and fatty foods. I do workout at least 4 - 5 times a week right now. I have never been over my LDW which is good but thought I was stable not really moving around for a couple of weeks and now this so I am really confused. Makes me think I should just stick to this for a full 30 days.

    so glad it worked for you - hope I can have a similar experience - I still have 13 more days of vlcd - and I have 4 more lbs to my goal - but I really am hoping for more than that - would be sooo awesome! Good luck!

    I don't think that going another week on P3 is a big deal. As far as losing on phase 3...I'm not sure what if any damage that could cause. I read on here that some people just can't lose while on p3 but I doubt it's a big deal if you are losing.

    I am a P3 fan... in fact, it will be a life plan for me. I didn't even do P4 because I am certain that wheat and sugars are unhealthy for my body. I continued to lose. Consider Paleo/Primal/Leptin Reset by the way.

    Round 2 started mid-Feb and I am doing well, though I do love my cocoa-crack. It's a life saver!!!
    Losses as of 3/23/12 for R1 & R2:
    55 pounds, 84.5 inches

    Thank you for the responses. I love P3, and am very happy with it and I feel really good. I got on the scale this morning and was down another pound but I workout very hard now which was an issue for me before. I was so inconsistent. I drink tons of water and eat plenty of calories so I don't know why all of a sudden I am losing so much. Is it possible to stabilize be stable for weeks and now the body goes back to the natural process of weight loss due to eating healthy and working out?

    I, too, am a P3 fan. I eat this way most of the time...I only add in starch/sugars for an OCCASIONAL treat...because that is where my sensitivities and lack of will power lie. Stay P3 if it feels good to you. For me, it is the best way to maintain my weight and feel great...no more bloating from wheat sensitivity. Thank you P3 foods. (Although, pizza is usually my treat of choice. Haven't found a good P3 crust yet...I'm from Chicago...we love our pizza here. Whadiyagonnado?)

    Yeah, I love P3 and did try a cup of brown rice and a long island iced tea and yep, I will just stick to P3 stuff. I gained 2lbs (which I expected) but just felt awful for days after. I did not do a steak or correction day because I am still under my LDW but have learned my lesson.
