    Argh , Lost My Post.

    I am loving P3 .
I had Cinnamon flax seed bread today..

As far as stabilization, I have been basically the same weight for 3 weeks which includes my last week plus of P2.

Today is my first P3 day. I went to the gym this am to work out --- critical to maintain.

Movies with hubby (brought my apple and water) but I had a great lunch of grilled salmon and roasted brussel sprouts!

I have noticed that my pallet has changed from this diet.....interesting. I am also eating MUCH slower. so far no blips in the weight. My last injection was Wed.

Wendy: I'd love to get an idea of what you are eating on a daily basis and around how much calories.

As of right now, I'm at around 700 for the day. I also plan to do Bikram Yoga this evening so I will sweat out quite a bit of water. Still drinking TONS!

Janet: Did you have your omlette this am?

And one other thing: Since I have lost close to 25 pounds.....I decided to get some new pants for work since mine are falling off. So off to Gap for their black pants and I am down to a size 8!!!!!! I think I told you guys before, but I am an architect so therefore, BLACK is pretty much my daily clothing.....LOL!

Have any of you endulged in some new clothes?????

I have clothes that fit me better and pants that I have not fit in for a long time.
    Dockers size 8 :-)

I stopped counting calories about a week, ago. I just log in when I try new foods.
And I stopped weighing my food,if I do p2 again, I will weigh every meal

Val, I sure did! 1 full egg with 2 egg whites, 5 fresh basil leaves chopped and added along with 1/2 cup grated pecorino ramano cheese and 2 stips of sugar free bacon. I sauteed it in butter! OMG! I savored every bite! I also had a 16oz iced cafe mocha (1T Hershey's cocoa unsweetened) with 1 cup of 2%milk (no whipped cream) and 2 sweet & low packets.

For lunch I stuck to my plain jane chicken breast. I just doubled my serving to 6oz. With that I ate a medium sized cucumber.

For dinner I made homemade taco seasoning and added it to a pound of ground beef. I made tacos out of lettuce cups. 1T of sour cream added to mine and a pinch of shredded cheese.
I ate 6oz of the ground beef, broken up into 2 lettuce cups.

88oz of water to round out the day.

I just stepped off of my treadmill. YEAH! My first experience with exercise since the beginning of this diet. I walked at a 10% incline @ 2.5 mph for 30 minutes. That equaled 1.3 miles and 201 calories burned. After plugging all food consumed today and exercise results into Livestrong, I consumed 803 net calories. What I don't know is what is a healthy balance of protein% vs. Fat% and carb%? Does anyone know?

Funny, I was so excited that my 48-hours ended last night at 6:30pm that I brewed a pot of coffee and had 2 large cups; each with 1Theavy cream. I thought, Oh Janet, you're in for it now! Tomorrow the scale is going to hurt you!!!!

I woke up to a .6lb loss! WOO HOO!

I added dairy, eggs & cheese today. I have no idea what tomorrow's weigh in will bring, but I am truly enjoying the journey!

I have learned so much about nutrition over the past 6 weeks! THANK YOU to my friends on this forum for their support! I look forward to this next stage in our health!

WendyK! Congratulations on stablizing so well! I hope and pray I am as successful! It's good to hear from you!

    Cheers!

    Happy Eastern Standard Time Everyone!

I woke up, stepped on the scale, and weighed 144.4! My LDW to the ounce! Is that good, or did I really gain 1.2lbs because as of yesterday morning, before P3 foods, I was 143.2???????

Val, I can't wait to learn your results after a full day on P3!

I'm going to bascially eat the same kinds of things today. However, I run on the high colesterol side, so I'm cutting out the 1 egg yolk, the ramono cheese, and adding in a portabello mushroom, stuffed with diced tomatoes, fresh basil, 1oz of Mozzarella cubed. (Sea salt and pepper to taste),brushed with EVOO, then grilled. This I will have in place of my ground beef/lettuce cup tacos.

My husband and I have plans this afternoon and wine will be on the menu. I would like to enjoy a single glass, so I have to watch the rest of the day's intake.

    Have a great day all!
    Cheers!

    Hey Ladies!

So happy that you all are finally hitting P3... it's been kinda lonely, lol!

Uptown- Ratio for Protein/fats/carbs... There are many schools of thought on that. The Zone diet suggests 40/30/30 - carbs/proteins/fats. For me, I am very sensitive to carbs, so don't think that would work. I am currently reading The New Rules of Lifting For Women. (It was suggested by DrivenAgain) I'm just getting into the nutrition part, but he discusses all of the different plans, etc. It also stresses doing more weight training rather than just cardio to increase the resting metabolic rate. It's very interesting and I plan on starting next week. I will let y'all know what I think.

WendyK - I also stopped counting calories about a week ago and haven't had any problems, actually think I may not be getting enough.

Val - My pallet is bonkers!!! Pre hcg, I would have a glass of white wine after work (not everyday, but most... sometimes 3 glasses, yikes But now I go straight to the red wine. When I read that after P2 people would reduce their appetite and find it hard to eat enough, I thought that was BS... But it's so true. When I cheated this week with that piece of cake - as small as it was - I felt horrible. Not from guilt, it was like a gut bomb and I felt lethargic. It's amazing how reactive our bodies are to different types of food.

Just want to say thank you for letting me hop onto your group. I am so thankful to have found this diet, it has changed my life forever. The support and encouragement is priceless.

    Hugs!

howdy all! I am starting P3 tomorrow. I did a 28 day round and lost 11 pounds. I had 15-17 to lose but it came off so slow, i'm kinda giving up. I am hoping I can stabalize and either do another round (a short one) or lose the rest by working out and running on my elipitical.

I was thinking I would be starving by this afternoon with the hhcg almost out of my system. I am seriously not even hungry. I think my dose was to high (pellets, 4 3x a day) Makes me think I should have lowered my dose and stuck it out a little longer. Oh well, P3 here I come!
