    Is Popcorn allowed in Phase 3?

    If it's organic with little to no salt? I love popcorn and it's a low calorie snack that fills me up. Any chance I can indulge on phase 3 or should I wait? I don't want to break protocol.

    Thanks for your help grammy1952, I'll tough it out. I just finished week 1 of Phase 2 and lost 10.2 pounds! I have two more weeks before I get into Phase 3 but I want to make sure I don't go against protocol so I'm trying to plan ahead.

    Glad to help! And the SHORTEST round is 23 days actually taking hcg. Just to be clear. Don't want you to stop too soon and not have your hypothalamus reset. I tend to see better stability with rounds of 30 days or more too.

    Thanks grammy1952, if I can do 21 days I can certainly do 23. I definitely don't want to do all of this only to have my hypothalamus still be askew. I was just looking at some of the foods I can have on Phase 3 and it says I have to increase my calories (slowly) and I can have butter, cheese, nuts, and peanut butter so I am siked!! Can I have pork? One dish I like to make (before HCG) is grilled chicken wrapped in a piece of hickory smoked bacon and topped with a slice of monterey jack cheese. I use a dijon mustard as a dipping sauce.

    Peanut butter is not good on P3. It's a legume not a true nut. Other nuts are fine but cashews are also not a true nut and can be problematic. You can have any kind of meat you like. But go slowly when you get to P3. Don't add in cheese, nuts and eggs all at once. Do one at a time for 3 days at a time.

    Got it, thanks for the heads up. Also..is it 23 days from when I first started taking HCG or 23 days from my first VLCD?

    23 shots, actually taking hcg. with the 3 days on VLCD after the hcg is stopped, it's a 26 day protocol, 24 days of dieting.

    Got it. I'm doing the drops (4 drops 4x a day) but I'm following the same protocol. I started taking them on August 18th which means my last day of taking the drops will be on September 9th and I start increasing my calories on September 13th. :-)

    If you're doing drops, it's only 48 hours instead of 72 before you start P3.
