I might try a fage day...I hadn't so far cos I was concerned as to whether dairy has been making me gain. So far my correction days have just been 'high protein days' with lots of tuna and fish as I don't eat meat or chicken. But I'm really craving yoghurt so might be worth a shout!

    Thanks for the suggestions
I just ant want to give you a hug. I know when I was anorexic, no matter how much I weighed, I would focus on insignificant details about myself that made me feel HUGE. It was my wrist bone. It doesn't really protrude, and so many of my friends DID. I got so fixated on my write bone that I starved myself and got down to VERY low weight just so my wristbone would protrude. It seems like you are doing something similar with your "big" bones. I can guanrantee you 100% that you do not look big even the slightest and that you are beautiful! I know that this will not change your view of yourself though. Not trying to overstep boundaries, and I apologize if I do, but have you thought about counseling? You said you are a student, right? Normally, you can get free counseling through your school. I've had years and years of it to overcome my issues and i would never have been able to do it by myself.

I'm no expert at any of this, but I hope you find something that helps to stabilize yiur weight and helps you be happy

I could give you a massive hug right back! I can totally relate to pretty much everything u have written in all of ur previous messages.

I have never had any kind of counselling for my anorexia/body image/self esteem issues...my university offers a free eating disorder counselling service but I tried it and the man said that he wasn't able to help me. I've been trying to get better on my own ever since, and I always thought that if I could just 'fix' my metabolism then it would be easy! But is been so long since I've had a somewhat normal relationship with food that I'm having trouble thinking of meals and foods to eat enough because eating so much and so often just seems so unnatural!

So i will try and just stabilise where my body is happy and trust that, even tho it's hard. The big problem I have...is what if I just KEEP gaining...

    Big virtual internet hugs!

Well, I'm at 108.2 this morning which is pretty devastating. However, I'm trying to go with it and also, having thought about it and done a quick scour of the forums, I wonder whether sugar alcohols in the sugar-free chocolate that I've been eating in the last few days has been contributing to the gain. My measurements haven't changed, but I feel so bloated and have quite a distended abdomen which I wonder if it's the choc, since that seems to be quite a common cause of bloating, water retention and sensitivity. So I'm dropping that and seeing what happens.

Also, after swabbie's post, I checked and it looks like it could be the time in my cycle when I'm ovulating, and I know that tends to cause a gain...so another contributory factor there perhaps.

Trying to stay optimistic! Thanks for all your help and support this far.

Woo! No SF choc yesterday and down 1.4 today Maybe it was the maltitol &/or lactitol which are the two sugar alcohols in the ingredients. I'm much happier today
