    Cool Starting Phase3 on/around 2/12/12? Need input and support!

    After much equivocating about whether to continue to Day 40 (another week) I finally decided that the diminishing weight release reward meant it's time to move to Phase 3. I am counting Day 1 for me, as the first day without hCG.

    Anyway, I've done a lot of reading, and I sorta understand what I'm facing, but I invite you to join in and ask questions and give advice, and for us to support each other, as we did on Phase 2.

    So, I had my last injection this morning. Today, tomorrow, and Monday, I remain on VLCD as if I were still on hCG.

    Then, I think, that 72 hours from that injection, I should have my first BAB aka Big Ass Breakfast with 50 gr protein. That would be Tuesday, right? I'm not sure exactly when P3 begins, the first injection or the first BAB.

    Then, I understand, NO sugar, no starch (to me, that means basically, no carbs) but lots of protein and fat! I'll be so thrilled to have eggs again!

    And, we are to introduce food slowly--1 at a time, so we can assess whether that particular food causes a jump in weight so we know to avoid it in the future.

    AND we need to weigh every day, and skip a meal if the scale goes up 2 pounds.

    I think these are the basics for the first part of P3, right? After I settle in, I plan go to the Leptin diet.

    I'd love to hear words of wisdom from experienced people and sharing of thoughts and challenges from others who are about to begin P3.

    Well, VLCD is going well. Yesterday, I cut back even more than usual (only a protein drink in a.m. and a little chicken at night) so this morning I'm down to 128.5. That's nice. But it's no wonder I'm hungry this morning. I'm hardly ever hungry in my stomach, but I sure am today.

    I took my last drop this morning and am scared to death I will gain back the 21 pounds I lost! I still have at least 10 to go maybe more too so it isn't like I am done *sigh*. The last week I have been really bad- cheated practically ever day so I think I need to move on. I think I start eating phase 3 Wed morning. As I understand it, meat and veggies are good no need to be afraid of them and no fruits, nuts for the first week or 2, eggs and cheese add in gradually? I thought about the leptin reset too. I am sick of rules though I thought I might see how I do with stabilizing and then if I am not doing well I will definitely try that. I am glad I found this thread. I am a nervous wreck!

    Glad you're here kwg. I understand! I wanted to get to my goal, but I was having diminishing returns, and that's why it seemed good to Move On to P3.

    From what I've read, you WILL gain it back if you don't follow the rules. And you've invested so much time and effort into releasing those 21 pounds, so it's in your best interest to be very careful in the next month.

    So first, be very focused on having NOTHING off protocol today, tomorrow and Tuesday. I KNOW you can do it! It's really important. The next month is to reset your hypothalamus so you don't put it all back! This is even more important than P2!

    On Wednesday, you can start increasing calories. But make sure it's everything EXCEPT any sugars or flours/starches. That's for 3 weeks. And be sure to weigh yourself every morning, and if you've increased 2 lbs, THAT VERY DAY you must cut out breakfast and lunch and then have a huge steak dinner.

    PLEASE don't sabotage yourself and go wild!!! hahaha! We're here for ya!

    I took my last drops on Friday so TODAY is my first P3 day. I am really nervous and scared too...but looking forward to eating eggs for breakfast! I did the 40 days and lost around 25 pounds so I definitely don't want to mess that up. I'm not done either, I have to go back for another shorter round in 6 weeks to lose the last 15...but oh well. One day at a time.

    I just finished P2 also and am on D3 of VLCD today. REALLY looking forward to having BAB tomorrow w/eggs! Bought my coconut oil last night and am ready to go. Glad to have found some others for support. I'm also going to incorporate the Leptin Reset into P3. Worked really hard to release 20# and don't want to gain any back! It helps that my husband did the plan with me (except he released 25# and he's within 10# of goal! Yeah for him

    I am planning on another round starting April 1st and hope to lose at least another 20#. I know I have a long way to go, but this site is so encouraging and helpful. Great moderators and HCG Neighbors

    Southern, you and I are on the same schedule! Glad to have a buddy. Hmm. Is there a reason you're waiting until Wednesday? I understand BAB starts 72 hours after your final injection. 24 this morning (for me) 48 Monday and 72 Tuesday. But I did read an extra day was fine.

    And LosinIt, I'm with you too! I want to do the reset. I think I'll wait a few weeks to incorporate the Leptin Reset and stick to Simeons pretty much. We all invested too much energy!

    Alamo, you are our canary! Howzit going?

    My tough times start today, because I'm READY to eat some different foods. Oh well, I'll drink water.

    Kewl. I did read that 96 hours is an option, and frankly, I wondered if that was what you were following and I really wanted to learn from you! Now I notice that we are BOTH Round 1~hahah! Have you read everything and all the stickies? Some really good info.

    I did 33 days (took a bunch of skip days) and finally put it together that it was time to stop. How about you? Did you do all that 24 lbs in Round 1 P2? WOW!
