    Good Morning all,

Woke up to a big surprise this morning my wonderful lunch out only cost me a .4 pound increase. which brings me up to 284.8..Not complaints thats for sure I am still down from LIW of 185.6.

@nyika: on your LIW was there anything that possible made it a little higher that day like TOM. Maybe your body is trying to stay that little lower. I know some of the woman on here lost more weight on their 72 hour transition. Some gained it back and some didn't. Did you loose more on your transition phase. My body seems to be staying between my lowest weight of my transition phase and my LIW. My other suggestion would be to message one of the experts.

@photogfrog: You don't have to do eggs then, since they aren't so friendly with your stomach. Just make sure what ever you choose that there are no carbs or sugars and lots of protein

How has everyone else's mornings been so far?

    Round 1 = 30 pound loss

    R2P2VLCD Day 15-20 175.6 to 173.8 (-1.8 pounds)

Good morning, So, apparently I am sensitive to the almond butter I have been eating on my apple. I know I said I was going to eat clean yesterday, but I got hungry (danger!) and that almond butter was calling my name. I woke up to another gain and a sore throat this morning. Can I go back to bed and start over? I am discouraged, but know that I have to be the one to control what goes in my mouth. Obviously, almond butter should not be one of them. I had two eggs with mushroom and avacado for breakfast, going to try protein shakes for lunch and snack and then a steak for dinner. I really wanted to do a correction day, but I am scared to try it while I am feeling under the weather. I also know that our bodies retain fluid when we are ill, so I am hoping that may have something to do with it. I never thought I would say this, but I miss P2!

ReeCee - you can always start over...and, the gain could absolutely be from feeling under the weather. I miss the structure of P2, as well. I am better with rules.

Today, I'm down...to 145.0 still in my +/-2. Not sure why I'm down. I had 2 glasses of white wine (seems red may be a bit of a sensitivity - dammit) and cream cheese stuffed chicken breast (thanks to DH-delish!). Still have to admit, eating more protein than anything else. Yesterday, I ate (4) egg whites with tomatoes for breakfast, apple, mixed veggies and ground turkey meatloaf for lunch, an almond flour scone and a handfull of cashews/snack, and chicken breast/salad/cauliflower for dinner. Seems like a lot when I write it all down. The only thing I would change is the time we ate dinner, a little late, 6:45/7:00. I'm going to try to get moving a little quicker today.

Trying to stay in the groove of P3 - one day at a time.

Have a great day everyone! Welcome to the new P3ers!

Farloca, by start over do you mean go back to P2 and HCG? I have been off of HCG less than two weeks which I believe means I could, indeed, go back on it if I am reading protocol correctly. I have been tossing that idea around in my head the past few days. LIW was actually 9 pounds above my goal weight, but I was exercising so much that I think I was becoming protein deficient and moved to P3 a little earlier than expected. I think I will give myself a few more days on P3and if I go up any more, I may have to go back on HCG for two weeks and then try P3 again.
I am thinking out loud (or thinking online, guffaw) to see if anyone has some constructive criticism for me. I am a very stubborn person and I don't like to fail, but I want to make sure I am not sabotaging myself in the process. I appreciate everyone's input and support on this forum. It's nice to know I am not trying to manage this crazy protocol all by myself.

There are two very important things about P3: Lots of protein and lots of fat. That is a basic premise of the protocol and P3. Coconut oil is especially good, and have real butter (not the other stuff) bacon, fatty chicken and beef etc. This is time to reject all the things you used to think you knew. The problem is the combination of fat with either starch or sugar--that causes weight gain. Paleo diet is no good because it preaches low/no fat.

So, remember, every day, HIGH protein and high fat. It's different from what you learned when you were younger. But trust it.

Also, remember that when you have a specific question, it's good to go up to the search line and do a search on your question. If you want to find a particular poster (e.g., mgsondance or grammy1952 or iluvkats) click on the advanced search to find the poster's name.

To get a ticker, most tickers have a URL posted above them. Go to that site, or google the ticker maker's name.

Have a great rest of the week!

I think the first thing I want back is a bit of avocado and maybe some cheese.

No, I meant to pick yourself up and start P3 over from where you are now. You're not failing! You are working things out! P3 is all about learning what/how foods affect your body. Be sure to eat your protein. Drink your water, and don't exercise too much, you can still cause gains in P3. I would do the full P3 and P4. make sure you're solid before going back in to VLCD. Your mind will thank you for it. You are going to lose those 9 lbs easily, once your body and spirit are ready.

I know Grammy says no calorie counting in p3, but shoot its so hard not to keep track of every little thing! And it's overwhelming to see how many calories are in just a tbsp of heavy cream when I'm basically drinking it straight with a side of coffee lol. other people struggling with this problem at all?
