The journey to weight loss is measured in baby steps.

It's part of my signature line -- choose2be skinny link.

I actually went out in search of the doctor who is the mastermind behind the products here because I had seen her speak a few times many years ago. All of her products are backed by nearly 25 years of scientific studies and I know that she has worked with several top athletes lik Ms O and Mr. Olympia. Not that I want to be that, but I trust her work. She (Dr. Ann De Wees Allen) is on the board of the Glycemic Institute. I trust her whole-heartedly.

I'm going back to skinny coffee only and going to give up regular coffee because Dr. Ann explains that regular coffee is actually fattening (the glycemic response in the body and how it makes us crave carby, high-glycemic foods). I'll do that for the next month and see how much of a difference it makes. It's just always been hard for me to give up coffee because I like to have 3 or 4 cups in the morning but with Skinny coffee you only have 1 cup in the morning and another one mid-afternoon. However, you can have the fruit tea more often and (my favorite) the Chocolate Raspberry latte you can have up to 4 times a day and it does not have to be buffered by an hour either side of a meal (before or after). You can even have it with your meal. But I only have one of those a day because to me it's like cheating without the guilt. Kind of like pampering myself with a "comfort food".

As much as I loved my success WHILE on the HCG protocol, I really don't want to have to rely on that for the last 10-20 pounds. I want to do it by living a healthy lifestyle. I think that's the best. But for losing large amounts, I think HCG is the best there is as long as a person is very well disciplined (which I am but realize not everyone is).
