Okay, a couple people have asked what I eat for my fat fast, so here goes...I have 5-6 mini-meals a day, and these have been my go-to foods:
    cocoa crack
Tuna (half can of oil-packed tuna with 1 Tb mayo)
Nuts (I get the Planters Wholesome Nut Mix, which is almonds, cashews, and macadamias, in the little 200-calorie packets. Very handy to take to work.)
Egg fried in butter and coffee with cream
...and the following 2 recipes that get me through:

    1. SUPER EASY "CHEESECAKE"
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
    8 oz heavy cream
    1/2 cup water
1 package Jello sugarfree Cheesecake flavor pudding mix

Whip the cream cheese till smooth, add cream and blend, then water, blend till smooth. Add pudding mix and continue to whip till thick, then refrigerate. I smooth it into a square pan, then when it's firm, I divide it as evenly as I can into 8 servings. I figure each serving to be about 212 calories and about 3-4 grams carbs. And it tastes heavenly!

    2. BACON, EGG, AND CHEESE MINI-QUICHES
    4 eggs
    1 cup heavy cream
    6 oz, shredded cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup coconut flour
6 strips of crisp, cooked bacon, crumbled
    couple dashes of onion powder
    couple dashes of garlic powder
    pinch of nutmeg
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper

Preheat oven to 375. Generously grease 12 muffin cups with butter or coconut oil, or use silicone cups that don't require greasing (my choice).
Divide the bacon, cheddar, and parmesan evenly among the muffin cups.

Whisk the eggs and cream together. Add coconut flour and spices, whisk well to combine. Using a ladle or small measuring cup, add the egg mixture to each muffin cup over the bacon and cheese. Here the recipe says to bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins have risen and are browned on top. I have to bake them at least 40 minutes for that to happen. I don't know if my oven's temp gauge is a little off or what, but I'd say just watch them after about 20 min.

I haven't figured out the calories or carbs on this. I just eat 1 or 2, depending on how much else I've had to eat that day.

By the way, this recipe came from the Fast Paleo website.

    Hope this helps somebody!

FFF today! I decided to do the FFF so that I can lose a few before I even attempt to step on the scale tomorrow. I could not bare it today. I know I'm way up! TOM came finally and I'm retaining tons of water. Need to do a FFF just to release a few lbs and then I'm starting the fat fast tomorrow for 3 days. I hope this works finally. UGH!!! Cannot take this puffy feeling any more.

On another note...I'm really thinking of starting another round next month. But really want to get these extra pounds off before then. I would love to be done with that round by the time beach season starts! If I start after TOM next month, I'll be done by early May which is perfect. Now, my only question is this...anyone hear of HCG affecting fertility negatively?? I've only read that it can help with fertility but I didn't know if it could actually hurt? I've never had an issue with fertility and now am having a harder time getting pregnant. I'm wondering if it is related to the HCG. Just a question that is in my head!

tam to lose, thanks for keeping us posted on your progress. So, i have been experimenting with a CD and "maintenance day" alternately, but it doesn't help a lot. I am stuck at 6lbs over LDW. Yesterday i craved for dim sum a lot and so invited a bunch of friends to handled the cravings and ate lots of chinese food, and woke up today with a 2 pound gain. Well, i know it will happen, but i think i need to indulge once in a while to keep me going on this ongoing weight loss journey. so, i am back on my feet now, and will be doing a steak day today (ate too much yesterday, so steak day today doesn't torture me as i don't really want to eat now anyway). I might be doing another correction day tomorrow-not sure yet. And i think i will do 3 days of Fast fast day next week, follow by the Atkins diet.
Hope all of you girls are doing well!

I'm doing terribly too! Ugh. Weighed this morning and I am a whopping 11 lbs over ldw!!!! This experiment is really not working for me. The correction days work but then I feel deprived so I eat off and then gain it all plus more. I think I'm definitely going to have to do another round. Ugh...so upset. Another FFF day for me today. And then I'm going to seriously consider another round...

If you are feeling deprived, something is off. I suggest you take a look at the Kruse Leptin Reset. It eliminated all my cravings.

Another issue is huge weight gains which mean inflammation. Likely culprits: high Omega-6 foods like almonds, dairy, eggs, gluten, soy, grains.
