    I ate bread!

Yesterday was P4D3 for me, I went out to a big wine maker's 5 course dinner with some friends. One of the courses was french onion soup with fresh bread croutons. I also ate 2 big crackers with my crab dip and 2 small slices of bread with rosemary butter. After eating all that I didn't gain! Woohoo! Nice to know I can occasionally enjoy some carbs and remain a stable weight.

It is exciting...isn't it?! We went to one of our favorite restaurants in Georgetown a week ago and I gobbled down a couple of pieces of their great homemade bread with butter slathered on it and didn't gain at all! It was so liberating.

If you haven't tried Julian Bakery bread (for any that love their breads) I would highly encourage it. You can order it online and it is delicious and low-carb. They also have gluten free versions.

That's great It's nice when we take it slow so our bodies can adjust to small changes like that. I loved it when I ate a 100% Whole Wheat Bagel Thin w/cream cheese the other day and didn't budge on the scale.

Whole Foods and many local health food stores carry Julian's Bakery Breads which are awesome and almost no carbs, not to mention totally healthy for you--sprouted, etc. Check out the mana bread. www.julianbakery.com

Congrats on the bread everyone! I will try my first slice of GF bread tomorrow with breakfast, and you've made me less worried. So far have added lima beans and quinoa pasta on P4, with no gains. Pinch me! I pray the stabilization continues. Thanks, too, for the link to julianbakery.com. Will try their products.
