I don't really follow this thread, but I do know a few of you from previous rounds. JeepCurlyGurl - I remember hanging with you for my very first round! Well I have been trying to hunt some of my old buddies down, so I can update them on how the heck I have been doing. AND I HAVE BEEN DOING AWESOME!!!

So here is my update on how I am maintaining my weight loss! If you are one that has read through my favorite threads you will be familiar with me. This forum was my life line through 2 rounds of HCG and 25 pounds weight loss. I got to goal weight this past November 2011, and have found what I think is the "Forever Solution" to maintaining all that hard earned work. Ready for it...

Intermittent Fasting! I have never done anything this easily. And can I tell you...I'm teeny-tiny now. For the most part I eat clean, but I really can eat whatever the heck I want (carbs and ALL) and not gain an ounce. My build is muscular & yet very lean. To put it this way, I have three children...yet you can see my abs! AMAZING! I'm telling you, HCG followed up with Intermittent Fasting lifestyle have changed my life forever!!! I have been doing "Eat Stop Eat" IF'ing since early December 2011, and can I just tell you...I am free from the bondage of food, the scale, and trying to just maintain. I still weigh myself every morning, but I'm no longer anxious about it. I am FREE! It is the easiest way of eating I have ever experienced. And it is the PERFECT lifestyle to live, following the weight loss of HCG.

I just want to encourage & inspire you all that there is a way to maintain your weight loss. I bought the e-book "Eat Stop Eat". But you can also find tons of information about intermittent fasting just by googling intermittent fasting. I personally like the 24 hour fast, twice per week. I also find I like to have breakfast around 10am or even as late as noon on my non fasting days. It sounds extreme, but it really is soooo easy! And that is coming from someone that always had to eat every couple hours, due to low blood sugar issues!

Here is the amazing thing...I stumbled across I.F'ing, thanks to Dr. Simeon's HCG, steak correction day. I wondered why he prescribed fasting all day till dinner with a steak and apple in order to correct your weight if beyond 2 lbs of last injection. Why would it cause a 2 pound drop in weight, and how could I use that in some form long term? That led me to I.F'ing research, which then led me to "EAT STOP EAT". It really has got me totally balanced and stabilized. I don't have to think or worry about food EVER again. I am truly...once and for all...FREE!!!!!!

So let that be an inspiration to all of you, that you really can maintain your HCG weight loss, forever! I know I sound like a sales person, but believe me...I don't make a darn penny off this (wish I did--). Just the satisfaction of knowing I found something that has changed my life, and I can share it with all you fellow HCG'ers out there...is really pretty awesome! So many times it seems that you journey through something like this along side others, only to have them move on with their lives and you never know whatever happened to them. I like to think they are doing well, maintaining their success, and just have moved on because they don't need the support anymore. I promised myself that I would still check in, even if they aren't the same faces. So there ya have it!

Anyhow, I wish you all the best of luck in whatever round you are in! Blessings,

    Erin
Sounds so interesting...I'm gonna google it. Might be pretty easy for me, since I get busy and hardly eat anything at work. I have been contemplating another round, but really don't want to, because I am in a size 8, at 5'6" and a 6 is my dream size. I go back and forth about this, and being out last night, I felt pretty good in my 8 jeans and killer high heeled leopard shoes, but saw many smaller women, and thought, I could probably get there with another round, but maybe this will work too. Hmmm.

    Hey HCGers,
Wow, I've been here for over a year now. What a fun time it's been. I've learned so much, I can't hardly believe it.
I've been stable for many months now and it's time to get to goal. to get really active again, spend more time outside and at the gym,
    and less time online.
I didn't want to just disappear but I won't be around here every day. And I wanted to be sure and say thanks to everyone for your
pats on the back, commiserations, knowledge, and on and on.
Good luck to you all and as usual - Congrats for all your losses, Boo Hiss for gains and stalls, Big Big Hugs whenever you need them!
    Love you guys!

But I like the LIW of 118, so I don't really need to lose more. But I could totally see how someone could lose a lot of weight (and fast) with IF'ing!!!! Yay!

    Just thought I would share...

I never actually go a full day without eating.

Example 24 hour fast: Monday stop eating 6pm - eat nothing till Tuesday 6pm. When you break your fast on Tuesday 6pm, just eat a normal size dinner as if nothing ever happened. (the cleaner the meal--the even greater benefits!) Thats it!

You can drink freely as long as it has no calories! I personally like to break my fast with very "lean & green" eating (low carb, but LOTS of veggies & fats are fine) I typically eat low carb (without veggie restrictions) as a lifestyle. But adding IF'ing...I really can eat whatever I feel like eating (carbs/sweets/junk and ALL!), and not worry to much about it. Some days I keep it clean, low carb. Some days I eat what what ever the heck I want & when I want! I always know I have my Monday & Thursday weekly fast to put things back in balance. It really does work. I follow the "Eat Stop Eat" fasting. It's an e-book. There is plenty of info on intermittent fasting if you google it .

Thanks so much for the 'Eat Stop Eat' information. I downloaded it free on the Internet and saved the entire ebook to my Evernote. Reading posts like yours really helps. I'm on R1, P2, D5 and struggling mentally more than actual hunger. I'm determined to get control over this brain soon.
    Thanks a bunch!

Hi, I'm starting P4 tomorrow. Anyone else?

I just reviewed Simeons' "Pounds and Inches" and he doesn't talk about a P4. So, to me, I'm back to eating normally. I'll probably reintroduce slowly to see if anything causes a reaction, but otherwise, I'm not worried. I feel pretty stabile so far, and plan to do another course of hCG after Easter.

Reading some of the previous posts, I did IFing for a few years. I had no problem with Intermittent Fasting, but it really exhausted my adrenals and thyroid, and I been treating both for the past year. Treating the adrenal exhaustion with HydroCortisone was a BIG cause of my crazy weight gain. So, instead of helping me long-term, it made me sick, created a thyroid problem where there had never been one, and knocked me into adrenal problems. I'm still under treatment because of the damage IFing did to me.

Best everyone. Let's revive this thread!

Erin - Thank you! I am in P3 of R2 and I have been wondering about IFing. When did you start...in P3? P4? And, what does a fasting day look like for you? (What time do you start and end fast? How much/little do you drink?) I know you posted some time ago, but I want you to know you reached somone who was really looking for this insight.

    Have a great day!
