    hi all,
had a bit of a feel sorry for myself- fest last night-emotional eating time! Although, compared to how it used to be(big bag of doritos, chocolate, ice cream), not too bad..8 wheat crackers(not supposed to eat wheat), couple macadamia chocolates, cheese, non wheat crackers, pickles...and after 8 pm! LOL...oh well, back to eating better today!
    have a good one

I really do want to try and eat something to see how I'll do before Thanksgiving. I'm going to try something tomorrow, maybe a sweet potato. Thing is, I know I'd like to have butter on it, is that ok? I'm kind of confused about mixing fats and carbs. Anyway, if anyone has a game plan for turkey day I'd love to hear it. TIA for any help you can offer!
I've been doing protein veggies the past two days. On thanksgiving I'm eating one meal, one plate, my splurge will be some stuffing. Making a small batch of low carb flaxseed brownies as my treat. Going to avoid sugar. Then I'm doing a protein day on Friday and Saturday.

Sounds like you have a great plan! I've decided to fix all my traditional dishes for my family, and I'll just have small portions of my stuffing (a must have!) green bean casserole, and a tiny bit of cranberries. I can go without the mashed potatoes and gravy. Have to make some consignments I made some P3 mini muffins sized pumpkin cheesecakes that I already tried out yesterday and I had no problem with them so they will likely be my little treat tomorrow. Good news is, I'm 1 lb below my LDW this morning, so I have a little cushion going into tomorrow providing I didn't gain today
    ENJOY AND BE THANKFUL ALL!
    Happy Thanksgiving!!

Sad to say, I'm up 2lb from yesterday Fortunately i'm still .4 from my LDW. So today I'm eating clean, whatever that means) lol I asked on the shoutbox this morning and found that it pretty much means only eat protein and veggies. I'm really wanting some chocolate delight/crack right now though!!! I may end up caving. I've never really understood how eating chocolate delight works though. I ate it in P2 bc I was told it would help with losses and that the coconut oil is used up for energy and is never stored. I actually did lose when I first tried it in P2 and never had any gains with it. Then when I got to P3 I read that you should eat chocolate delight to help get your calories up. So you can understand my confusion. Does it register as calories or not? If anyone has the answer to that I'd love to know

How did everyone else fair over the feasting day?

I was HORRIBLE on Thanksgiving and gained 3lbs but I have no regrets. I knew it would happen, I planned for it and now I'm back to eating P2ish to dump the bloat. I figure it'll take me a week to get rid of it and I have to say, every delicious bite was worth it in the end. lol

Mini, I want to encourage you and say that I don't think it'll take you a week to lose your weight. I ate "clean" yesterday and am down this morning by 1.6 VERY HAPPY! Just eat protein and veggies and I really think you'll do fine. I didn't eat the chocolate delight, I pressed pass my craving by having a cup of decaf last night. You'll be fine :-)

I ate way too many calories on Thanksgiving. But I ate no dessert at all. My big splurges were stuffing and mashed potatoes. And I had too many adult beverages. : )
Was up 3 lbs yesterday. But I did a steak day and am down 3+ lbs today, so hey it all evened out in the end. Back to clean eating today.
