Steak and Cheese Day to correct, who knew?....

Ate 2 eggs for breakfast, 40 oz. of steak for lunch and dinner and 3.5 oz cheese before bed, woke up with a 1.4 loss. Not quite to my LDW but close enough. Nice. I came across it by accident on youtube.com

2 and a half pounds of steak and a pound of cheese?

I may need to try that!

I had my doubts but I had a back up plan just in case, crazy what you find out there. Here's a handy hand out that I may have to keep on my fridge for the future, it's for P3 but it worked in P4.

Yeah, that handout is totally based on P&I. To me, a huge steak is 16-24 oz. Did you have TWO big steaks? And a HUGE portion of cheese is like 4 oz!

I probably over did it on the steak because I had no idea, really did it out of "experiment" to keep in my food journal, if I did it again, I'd cut it in half. But when you consider that when I was on VLCD, I lost .6 a day, so it would have taken a 2 1/2 days to lose 1.4lbs.

Yes, I ate two 20 oz steaks, I felt so sick I thought for sure I was going to wake up 5 lbs heavier, and the cheese, I stand corrected, typo, I thought it was 6 oz but I just weighed it (it's presliced pepperjack I keep in the fridge), it was 3.5 oz. So next time, cut meat portion in half and do the same. Shame on me for saying there's a "next time" but it's reality. Right?

can't wait to try the "if your approaching a Steak Day".. that seems more up my ally, avoiding is better then having to deal with the a gain. That would come in handy on vacation.

I think I'm primed to do this today. I have eggs at home, but no meat, so I can go buy some. We have some stinky runny French cheese that I could eat by the pound.

Be aware that if you are lactose intolerance or sensitive to milk products then you could see a jump from the cheese. Make sure you are safe with cheese. Ah, cheese... How I miss you so....

Thanks for the warning. I'm good with cheese.

BTW, can I drink coffee with cream during this correction day?

Go for it, we will start a thread on "Try this see if it works". Can't wait until tomorrow to see your losses.

@Cassie7: good point. I was blessed that I had no reaction to anything I ate in P3, daily I was never over or under .5 of my LDW and I ate everything and anything, 2000 cals. a day.
