Struggling but working to be better. Help/Advice/Talk me back to sanity?

    Hello Everyone!

So I've never actually posted in this forum before but it has been insanely helpful and I feel like I need to start participating in the conversation so that I can let out frustrations, clear my head, get advice, and maybe learn something?

First off, I'm in P4 of my Second round. I've gone down this round from 188 to LIW 159.8. I'm 5'4, with a really hour glass figure with a slight weight dominance on my upper hips so my tummy doesn't really stick out much at all and my waist is really small but my hips are wider.

My weight tends to bounce around between 159.8-162.0 and it is always FRUSTRATING. Especially because I rarely indulge (almost never) and I work out 5/week. Plus I do a regular steak day once a week. I'm really wanting to get down to 140 by MAY 1st because I graduate on May 5th and want to be at my ideal weight. It's just getting really hard to go down.........

I also don't really want to do another round because I'm scared of getting even more sensitive to certain foods.

My motivation for writing today: I sort of ate way too much today. And not that anything was really bad alone but everything together was really too much. I had been working out for days straight and got used to being able to eat a little more because I was burning so much and so today I was starving all day even though I didn't work out. It's crazy.

My goal is to get down 10 pounds in the month of FEBRUARY naturally. And 10 in MARCH. And then do maintenance in April. Any thoughts? Ideas? Help?

Anyone on the same plan wanna do it together?

Also if you have awesome delicious yummy healthy recipes do please post. Especially for quinoa. I just bought some but have no clue what to do with it LOL

CAN'T WAIT TO SAY I"VE MADE IT

If you don't want to do another round, I'd stick to P3 eating. No sugars or starches. You might not lose many pounds, but I bet you lose inches! Plus take a look at the Leptin Reset threads on this forum, lots of people have done this w/ much success. Good luck!

Of course not, you can lose weight working out and eating low carb! When I read your original post, you wrote you wanted to lose 10 lbs this month and 10 lbs next month. I think that's a little bit optimistic without hcg. But that's just me, I couldn't lose 10 lbs in a month without the protocol.

Doing hcg doesn't make you sensitive to foods. Whoever told you that doesn't know anything about how food sensitivities work. You develop them when you have a leaky gut from eating junk food and then you eat a lot of the same food over and over. Food intolerances can be what made us fat in the first place. The other problem is often insulin resistance. When you're on hcg, you're eating clean and monitoring your carbs. Then when you go back to eating carbs, the weight can pile on. But these are not anything hcg caused. Both of these things were there all along.

    Doing a correction day

Yea... :/ I'm learning to be more wary. I've set a goal to lose on my own through eating healthy and exercising five pounds/month for three months to make my final goal but if I'm not hitting it then I'll do one last round of HCG.

I'm curious about the FFF Correction day? I'm doing it today but everyone says that you only eat 32 oz and the tubs are one oz each above 16.... should I just leave a tbsp in the tub? LOL idk....... don't have a scale

I did a steak day a few days ago and lost 1.8 from it.

So I'm down from 188 to 161.8 now. I'd love to get to 144-146 range.

I'm rambling LOL But my biggest problem is that I LOVE LOVE TO BAKE and I am always looking for very healthy recipes but there is always going to be carbs in them......

Check out the website healthyindulgences.net. I found it while I was searching for low-carb recipes, it has a ton of fantastic recipes I want to try. Low carb, low sugar, mainy are grain free, etc. Great recipes too, for chocolate cake, for rolls, for ice-cream, for all sorts of sweets and baked goods. She also has a guide for using sweeteners in recipes that is very helpful. I'm looking forward to baking when I get to maintenance, but I'll be trying out new versions of everything since I love to experiment in the kitchen. Plus, it's just not worth it to pile the pounds back on!
