I just have to comment here. Can we talk spell check for a minute? Don't you hate it when the damn thing makes auto corrections that are NOT what you intended OR ignores an error all together? Never get in such a hurry that you let that damn thing do your work for you. Last year I got an email from someone introducing themselves. I replied Hello Mr. so-n-so. When I got his response to my email, I reread what I sent to him and much to my embarrassment it said. "Hell Mr. so-n-so". OMG.

I agree about spell check. I was getting so tired of editing the edit program I had it disabled.

Hey I am generally too lazy to write grammatically correct let alone check my spelling but there is a spelling error that erks me and I have seen it a lot on here : weighted as in I weighted myself this morning... no , you weighed yourself this morning unless you physically added more weight to yourself. I should never pick at ones errors as my posts will be full of them...but this one gets at me. Then again I'm Australian and we spell and say things differently ie color vs colour so maybe I am wrong..I do come from the land down under.

Spellcheck produces many hilarious results...particularly the iPhone autocorrect. Peruse this site at your own risk; some of the substitutions (and text conversations) are...errrr...let's go with 'ribald'.

I'm also writing books, and can attest that a really broken sentence tends to leave me cringing...though I've long since given up on correcting people. Texting and the internet have been like the death of language (a strange position for a text-and-internet junkie like myself to take, but there it is).
