my other questionis about bars and shakes i am lazy and dont always prepare ahead has anyone found ant friendly skakes or bars instead of real food
Most people will recommend to do a cleanse first. In my experience, doing a cleanse first helps to GREATLY clean out your system- thus reducing Sugar/Card cravings- which can be a nightmare during the first week of VLCD in my experience.

Somewhere in another forum there is talk about Shakes. I've never used any while on protocol- so check there what other recommend. Sorry, I don't recall which thread / forum I've seen it in, just know i've seen it. =)

Compared to what? I thought it was very comparable. I paid WAAAAAY more for Rx Injections and the hhcg drops I used were within $5-$10 of the cost of the patches. Many sites I've looked at sell homeopathic drops for $100+ a bottle. For me, the convenience has been WELL worth it! They've worked better for me than injections, and compared to those cost SO MUCH less- lots of times they have specials where you can get good deals- maybe they have a promotion now?

thanks - just wondering then what you loaded on - in the past I have always loaded with lots of sugar, pastries, carbs, junk food really .... it would seem really silly to do that after a cleanse that rids your body of sugar / carbs - cleanses are hard work so it would seem counter productive to then just load on sugar / carbs

LeeAnn, I would load heavily on healthy fats and keep the sugars to a minimum. Lots of avocados, FF Greek yogurt, nuts ect. Good luck with the patch! Hope you have great success with them, I know I would never go back to drops again!

I agree with Diane. You shouldn't be loading on a bunch of carbs and sugars- the purpose of loading days is to load up on healthy fats- not just have an all out pig fest (which is what i did my first round LOL)

Certainly doesn't hurt to say goodbye to some good old favorites, as long as you are getting lots of good fats in

I have NEVER seen that type of advised loading advised. Mostly the advise is to load on healthy fats (such as cheese, avocados, nuts. whole dairy, fatteir cuts of meat). Now I have seen it mentioned to add some of the things you love and know you will miss, like chocolate, but it seems to be that would make the potential cravings worse.

The purpose of loading in to build up your normal fat reserves (as opposed to the abnormal ones that you can't burn without HCG [or ketosis?]).

hello everyone - frequency apps emailed confirmation that they shipped my order last Thursday - I am in Canada and only paid the priority post (20.00), so I am hoping for it by the end of this week! I started my 5 day cleanse today so I am really banking on the fact that the patches will come in by Thursday and then I will load Friday and Saturday. If they do not come in for some reason, I will just start this round with the drops until the patches come in, but I am hopeful about the delivery of the patches.

I am so ready to get this weight off again! Have a good day everyone,

    Lee-Ann
