Yesterday, I read in another thread that Meridian Health labs had taken the pellets off their site, so I tried to go and see but my IE browser would not open the site. I switched to firefox and was able to go there, but it wasn't the same site it had been barely two weeks ago. There is no more homeopathic HCG for sale there, not drops, not pellets, nothing. Instead there is "HCG alternative" drops and pellets. It is clearly stated that there is no HCG in the preparations, and the lists of ingredients no longer show HCG at all. Worried that I might have gotten the new formula since I ordered so close to the changeover I raced upstairs to look at my bottle, but was relieved to find real pellets with real HCG listed on the bottle. Since I don't have much to lose and am hoping I'll never need another round, I'm not too worried, but sad to think I might never be able to count on homeopathic HCG in the future if needed. I'm thinking that all sources of homeopathic HCG will follow suit, sooner rather than later, and I am so glad I got my pellets just in time!
I do wonder, however, if they merely changed the labeling and the drops and pellets might actually be exactly the same. Homeopathic preperations have so little of the ingredients that testing by the FDA would not show the HCG. At least until they run out of what they have already made, they might be exactly the same with a different label. But when they do run out, I'd assume they would start making them the way they are labeling them.
Has anyone else noticed a difference at their favorite HCG sites?
