Wow Lizzy amazing abs!! All your hard work has paid off! I am doing my best mentally today to stay strong. Luckily I'm spending it with my boyfriend who is doing Atkins so no junk food here.

I am definitely on the grapefruit hater team! Too bitter for me no matter what I do too it. Plus I have found that I have a sensitivity to citrus fruits. So apples/strawberries for me only!

I haven't been on for awhile, so I am sure I am WAY behind on threads. Today is P3 day 5 and so far so good. I am 0.6 below my LDW and holding steady. Still haven't reintroduced dairy, but I did have eggs and have been eating 2-3 fruits per day. I think fruit is more beneficial for your health than dairy, so that is why I did that. I am not counting calories. I just eat until I am satisfied and try to make healthy choices. I did dip some strawberries in coconut oil cocoa crack and they are in the freezer for Easter dessert later. Thankfully, my family is doing turkey because I have decided to completely give up pork. I hadn't eaten it in 2 months or so anyways, so that was no loss for me!

We had a belly dancing show yesterday and I felt SO great. We had an article in the paper and I was referred to as a "goddess in green." That was a first! Oh, and the dress that I bought for Easter (size 7/8) was TOO big this morning! I can't believe how well this diet works. I am so happy and my DH is speechless!

Happy Easter, all! Our leg of lamb marinated in a red-wine sauce last night, and is cooking on the rotisserie. I have made some strawberries & cream for dessert, cut up a bunch of fresh fruits, and made a nice mixed-green salad. Next, I'm heading upstairs to make devilled eggs... and we'll finish up with some croissants. I seriously cut back on the starch for this family meal (only making one bread!), but I'm going to give myself a HUGE plate of sliced strawberries with fresh whipping cream as a treat.

I'm back down today... body seems to like it here. 11 more days of P3. If my weight "hangs out" from 160-162 I guess I should be happy. Some days are just harder than others.

LIZZY - Lifting weights in a BIKINI! - Now that's the kind of body confidence I'm looking for!! AWESOMENESS!!!

KAT: I think you'll be fine - it was more the mental job it did on you huh? Dont beat yourself up - You have awareness now and you care what's going into your body - I see that as HUGE progress in the scheme of things!

SUZEQ: welcome back! - you know i FOUND OUT about hcg from that Dr oz episode!! I should write him and THANK him!! I had scoobydoo ears - I was like "EHHHRRRR??? HCG WHAT?" In my opinion - he had a quick little segment on it - and by the end he AND the viewers still didnt have an accurate picture of WHAT the diet is truly about and how it works - how to EASILY avoid the possible side effects - He's a good guy - but he's not always "all that" with everything!

Steak Day Alert! I had a piece of pie at brunch. So, probably looking at Steak Day Monday. Although right now I'm only 1# over from what I weighed this morning. Oh well, it was totally steak day worthy.

I am so glad today is over! I had two steaks, two apples, tomatoes, lettuce and a teeny tiny bite of a chocolate bunny ear. I'm terrified of the scales tomorrow!
