Miracle Noodles/Shiratake - finally got to try them for the 1st time last night and had 'spaghetti'. Thought I was in heaven. A bit pricey - they are. May check into some online sources, but then you have to figure the cost of shipping too.

These noodles are found in any asian store for $1.50 - $2.00 !! if you have any near you that is the place to get them . Once people got ahold of the idea there were these noodles out there that are great for diets the prices shot right up !! If you eat too many they do have an unfavorable side effect.......... going to the bathroom

Oh, and I forgot I'm doing my steak day a little differently - like how Jeff suggested it before. I'm having steak for lunch, and then will have steak and a tomato or apple for dinner. Hopefully it gives me good results. Couldn't get through today not eating at all until dinner time again!

Will be very curious how that works for you. I luckily haven't had to do one yet, but I too can't imagine going all day without anything. I'm not into fasting. I hope it works. Will make me feel better if I ever need one. Note that positive attitude - "if"!!!

I am getting to the end of my tolerance for sticking to protocol...I wanted to try to stay on track until right before I left for the retreat, which would be Wed then do p3 (as much as I can) so I can start back on p2 on Monday. I know I'm sounding like a whiny baby!! I just didn't expect it to be this hard this far in. I've been getting so hungry lately...I'm going to try to suck it up and trudge forward. I've made amazing progress but apparently my brain likes to sabotage me!!! Tonight I'm going to try some of those miracle noodles with some hamburger and tomatoes...kinda like spaghetti...only thing missing is the garlic bread
The choices we make impact the rest of our lives.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! It's so great to see everyone cheering each other on. And happy friday!

I'm excited (understatement) because I finished my first week yesterday, so I weighed and measured this morning. 11.8 pounds down, and 6 inches lost (1.5 from my waist, and bits and pieces from arms, hips, thigh, calf, etc.) It feels so great to see results so quickly!

So I went and got myself a ticker and everything. Looking forward to reading and learning more. I read a zillion pages yesterday so I don't remember who said it, but I had yellow mustard on my beef last night and it was magical -- just what I needed after starting to feel a little bored with the food choices.

    Round 1, P2
    Week 1 Results: -11.8lbs, -6 inches!!
    Week 2 Results: - 6.2lbs, - 2.5 inches
    Week 3 Results: - 2.6lbs, - 2 inches
    Week 4 Results: - 3.9lbs, - .5inches
    P2 Total: 26.8 pounds in 35 days, .79lb/day average

    P3 starts 10/15!
