Down .4 this morning! yesterday was my last drop day for 10 days....I am going to cycle a little.... I hope I don't gain any while I am in Florida....I need to stay strong....

You are doing great!! I think the only reason I am losing so much is because I gained the 3 lbs on the weekend...I lost great the first week, the second week was ok and then you can see what happened to me in week three...i ended up with a 1.9 gain...so this week 4 is better. I usually average .5 to .8 per day....or less after week one....

I had a 1.2 pound drop this morningToday is VLCD7 for me and my total loss for week one is only 6.4 pounds. Not great, but I think I figured out why. Read my blog post for today.
I feel kind of bad... Like I missed out on the 'magical' first week of amazing losses. But it was an honest mistake... I thought I was doing everything right. Oh well, live and learn.

Hey FaithfulI am back!! I didn't do too badly...only gained 2.2 lbs. I think it was more gaining on the alcohol then the food....I have been off the drops since last Thurs and I am going back on them Monday....so 10 days off. I read your blog and I see you are still losing
that's great...keep it up....and inches do matter too....after all we want to look smaller too.

Thanks for checking in. 2.2 pounds is not bad at all! I bet it will come off fast. Maybe a steak day, like in P3, would put you back down to your pre-vacation weight? When you do this "cycling" is it like being in P3? I don't know, just thinking off the top of my head.
Anyway, I'll check back tomorrow with an update.
I got a nice surprise on the scale this morning... down 1.2 pounds! I was not expecting it since I lost 0.6 yesterday. It seems my losses are picking up a bit. Couldn't be happier![]()

Yay!! Great Faithful...you are doing so well....You are almost under 200!! Keep it upI was down .6 this morning. Yes the cycling thing is like being in P3 but I have eaten a few things that aren't on P3. I hope to get the rest off by Sunday and then start the drops again on Monday so that I can continue to lose for 20+ more days before I go back on p3 for another 10 days.....

I read about alot of people doing "cycling". I think I kind of understand how to do it, but what are the advantages? WHY do people do it? I am just curious

Do you use the J.R. protein in P2?
I think cycling is good in round 2 or 3 so you don't get bored or tempted to cheat with longer rounds. Also if you have a lot more weight to lose it is good to cycle so that you don't have to do a full P3 or P4 and you can lose faster. But I think in order to reset your metabolism then when are at goal you should do a full P3 and P4.
I didn't do JRobb on my first round but have used it some on the last 2 rounds and on P3 as well. I haven't been drinking them too much this winter just because I like it blended with ice and it's cold outside so I drink coffee instead inthe mornings![]()
